Alta marea In Rimini

We went for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who had raved about the place, so we had very high expectations. So much so that the very evening I called there was no room, so we booked for the following evening because we were even more intrigued. The pizza was good, my husband's four-cheese gnocchi were undercooked, my tagliolini allo scoglio was good, but the sauce didn't match the pasta (I had the impression that there was a seafood mix to use in the tagliolini and in the seafood rice, which in the meantime passed me on the trolley). My daughter's tagliatelle with meat sauce was again good, the consistency of the tagliatelle was good, but the ragù was thinned out with the tomato sauce and disjointed... you could taste the acidity of the tomato puree that had been added but not cooked... as for the table, even though I had booked the day before, they put us next to the kitchen corridor. Luckily, at a certain point during dinner, the lady (the owner, I presume) opened the sliding window in the other room and started to circulate the air. Let's just say they forgot about us a bit... the dessert didn't arrive because it ran out... we drank two coffees! Well... I wasn't very convinced overall, which is a shame because it's a nice place and in my opinion they should take more care of the customer rather than looking at quantity at the expense of the result... I'm sorry.

The atmosphere was very welcoming, but we immediately noticed that the owner's acquaintances were given preference: their dishes were brought first, and overall they were treated significantly better than other customers. As for the food, we ordered a paella for two, which looked inviting, but we actually noticed that the rice was sticking to the pan (so it wasn't cooked evenly) despite waiting about an hour. The mussels were a bit dry and bland, while the rest of the fish was good. Overall, a decent experience, but very poor compared to expectations, especially considering the quality-price ratio (about €60).

Extremely long wait, €26 appetizer barely worth it, sea bass ordered but never arrived. Not really my cup of tea.

Eight of us, including a child, dined last Sunday evening and were thoroughly satisfied. The menu catered to every taste: we chose delicious pizzas, carefully crafted pasta dishes, an excellent vegetarian option, and indulgent desserts. The handmade breadsticks served at the table were a real treat, a detail that makes all the difference. At the end of the meal, the staff treated us to a selection of liqueurs—limoncello, licorice, and pistachio—accompanied by cantuccini biscuits: a welcome touch that capped off the evening on a high note. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and fast. The restaurant is meticulously maintained and exudes a pleasant atmosphere. It's conveniently located, easily accessible on foot if you're staying near Riccione Abissinia. Parking is available nearby (for a fee). Excellent value! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic paella! Very nice place near the Riccione amusement park, free parking nearby, excellent menu with many options, we ate very well. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

Siamo arrivati un po' tardi ma abbiamo trovato posto. Ottima qualità dei cibi , abbiamo optato per una pizza con contorno . Ci è piaciuto tutto , Elena si è presa cura di noi in modi impeccabile. Lo consiglio vivamente, atmosfera giusta , belle persone , posto non rumoroso . Strepitosi i dolci , torneremo sicuramente.

Ottima qualità, dall’antipasto al dolce! Servizio veloce e attento. Qualità alta delle materie prime e grande capacità nelle preparazioni e nelle cotture! Da tornarci presto!
