What a discovery!!! Bread and other high-quality products; the ingredients used to fill the focaccia I ate were of the highest quality and perfectly measured. The place is lovely and attentive to detail. The staff is discreet and friendly. See you again.

One of my favorite places when I come to Castel di Sangro. Takeout is also very convenient. I miss the trout and creamed cod from the very early days a bit, but I understand the market has grown.

I've been coming to Alt for several years now for the excellent food, from breakfast to lunch, and takeout. I must admit that in recent months I've been coming much more often because I've found the new staff incredibly kind, prompt, and professional. Especially with Michela, Mariarosaria, and Gianni, I feel at home—only better! Because the food wins you over the first time, but it's the people who keep you coming back again and again.

For two people with a dog, the welcome wasn't exactly warm.
We ordered two focaccias to eat at the table and various desserts to go; the products we tasted were worth the stop.
Some of the staff seemed arrogant; they repeatedly checked the receipt and asked me several times if we had consumed anything other than what we paid for. It was good, of course, but excellence is also expressed through smiles and kindness!

I have to think there's a lack of staff. Managing Alt is difficult, and I realize that, but I find the roles confusing. I'm not a bar expert, but I've worked in the restaurant industry. It needs improvement. Romito can afford more staff.
This is the real problem.
The food is excellent, as is the setting and the American-style, yet minimalist, place. I wouldn't have removed the stools from the counter, for example...
Then there's the closed chain. You have to ask the staff to open the door for you. No way.
