Recommended by a friend, and no advice was more helpful. A lovely, modern place that starts out as a cafe but is actually a pub/grill. The savory "bombs" are a great idea: the very soft dough is filled with excellent ingredients. The whole fried chicken is a must-try. The desserts are truly amazing. Whether you're visiting Castel di Sangro or just passing through, you absolutely must stop by.

I had a macchiato and a croissant, good. But I give a 5 to the service because I finally find a smile, kindness and attention in an environment that is normally cold, detached, sometimes arrogant. Congratulations Michela.

Hailed as Niko Romito's house but apparently it only has the name.
High-end frozen products but still frozen and available in other places too. Especially what concerns breakfast.
Let's forget about the coffee. Medium-high prices.
All surrounded by the usual soup of fake chic places. Where it is not possible to change anything.
I give it a chance every time but nothing, it doesn't spark.
Too bad.

As tradition dictates, when I pass through Castel di Sangro, the stop is a must.
Good products and attention to quality.
However, I must express some criticisms.
Slow service, two employees are unable to meet customer requests.
And then the maritozzi are no longer available...
Certainly some aspects need to be reviewed.

A pleasant culinary stop, I highly recommend the fried chicken accompanied by the bread plate, they are very good on leavened products. I recommend trying the Frangipane cake. The service is good, the guys are all very kind.

I have been to this place twice. I tasted a couple of sweets, one with apples and the other with carrots and almonds. They are good but not excellent. The service however leaves something to be desired. Slow. In particular when I went by the second time to get a coffee at the counter, the girl behind the counter was very slow. We waited ten minutes at the counter and there were no other people to serve. I recommend this place only out of pure curiosity, not for excellent quality and service.

But do we want to stop and talk about the quality of the bread? Niko Romito has done his thing and it can be felt. The focaccias and dark pork bombe are highly recommended: delicious, a stellar bite... and starred. Yes yes, let's stop at ALT, it's always worth it.
