Alpino In Segonzano

The waiter seemed very unmotivated and only offered us three pasta dishes. The spaghetti was overcooked and had only about a spoonful of sauce stirred in. The salad was good, and the price was appropriate for the carelessly prepared food.

We visited this restaurant while traveling from Pescara to the Dolomites. We stayed in Brusa, a nearby restaurant, and we stumbled upon this one. Their hospitality left us speechless, because even though the restaurant was closed when we arrived, they still offered to make me and my girlfriend two sandwiches. For this reason, after a few days, we decided to return and have a proper dinner. Every course, every item we chose was exceptional, to say the least. We hope to return to this restaurant in the future and try more of their dishes. Unfortunately, we live far away from them, living in central Italy, but I'm sure we'll return sooner or later.

Spurred on by the reviews, we went in... but the smell from outside is already convincing. I wanted to take photos of the dishes, but I was so eager to try them that I didn't have time. Cod risotto, polenta and rabbit, salad, lemon cream cake, their grappa, salad, wine, and water. The price is excellent at €38, but the most important thing is that the food is excellent. The rabbit was the best I've ever had, the risotto was delicious, and the cake was top-notch!!! The service was truly warm and friendly, it felt like lunch at home. I can't wait to go back. Try their grappa, excellent!

A group lunch featuring cod was organized, delicious but a bit pricey. Paper tablecloths. White wine and sparkling water were provided.
