I stopped in for lunch on a cloudy day. The place is welcoming and warm inside. I ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza, and I must admit I was truly amazed. The dough was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful spot on the slopes, spectacular views. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent food, from polenta to meat. Perfect for groups too. Highly recommended.

A beautiful day spent with the cows, and if you add a beer in a warm, welcoming place, you've achieved perfection!

The polenta and fondue were excellent, the refuge was beautiful, and the people who work there were very kind and friendly. The lounge chairs provided for guests, the lawn, and the beautiful sunny day made the gondola ride even more enjoyable. (The only flaw, in my opinion—but it's obviously not their fault—is the number of hideous snow-making poles climbing up a nearby ridge, ruining it. Skiing needs to be rethought to be more respectful of the landscape, the environment, and water management, in Alagna as everywhere else. If there's no snow, you can't ski, as it always has been. Period.)

Came for lunch while walking in the area. Is a decent spot, quite cute and modern. They organise many events in the summer like wine tasting, music, etc. Might be worthwhile to join some of them.

I have nothing to say about the location, but I'll focus on the food. We ordered two plates of polenta, one with sausage and one with fondue. I found the quality to be modest and the quantity equally modest, costing €16 and €14 respectively. A €3 cover charge seems excessive. I should point out that, on the way down by cable car, we spoke to two ladies who were also at this restaurant, and they shared our opinion. Overall, mediocre.
