Tuscan osteria with good food but poor value. Pappardelle with sausage and pumpkin sauce, with a poorly blended sauce (it tasted like plain pasta with a sauce on top), wild boar stew, and a stuffed zucchini dish that was too oily and lacking in vegetables. Friendly staff, homey atmosphere.

The food is very good and the portions are large. Home-style cooking in a setting reminiscent of the alleyways of Florence. Friendly staff.

After hearing about it, we tried this Tuscan osteria. The young, attentive staff treated diners with attention and kindness. The Tuscan dishes are authentic and tasty. The restaurant is young and informal, perfect for both social gatherings and romantic dinners. The Chianina beef stew was delicious, and I was particularly impressed. The other guests also appreciated the pici. The complimentary liqueur after the meal was a special treat. Congratulations!

A glimpse of true Tuscany, enchanted in the Romagna region

After reading and hearing good things about it, we finally went. We'd definitely highlight the excellent table service, provided by polite and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the food: the gnudi (a type of ravioli with spinach, ricotta, and béchamel) weren't bad, but the pici all'aglione were drowned in a sauce that was too thick and too thin. While the Livorno-style cod was decent, the Florentine-style tripe was a disappointment: like the pici, it was drowned in a thin sauce and tasted bland. The young Morellino di Scansano 2023 was decent. With two coffees, the bill came to €82. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the food was a bit of a letdown.
