As often happens in port cities, the center is full of great movement and people of different origins. This makes the city lively and welcoming and offers an interesting liveliness and variety. We appreciated the market with a pleasant atmosphere and a wide choice of fresh and locally produced products. The restoration of the structure was successful. Compliments.

Always a guarantee... do you go to Livorno and not stop for lunch at the supplies? Like going to Rome and not seeing the Pope... yesterday seafood trio, fish soup and octopus... every time I struggle to decide what to leave off the menu with the promise of returning as soon as possible... and then oh well, the barricaded negroni, but not only... the welcome, the professionalism and kindness of Giuditta, Alessia, of all the staff and finally, not least, the innkeeper, Fabio, who with his passion infects regular customers and new customers... at next!

Executioner cold. Placed there on ice on a shaky table outside. After an hour the ravioli doesn't arrive. I leave the match exhausted. I pay €5 per glass for the expensive wine, it says it's organic. Wine that I didn't finish. . Maybe in summer and with a better table it could be an acceptable experience.

If you find yourself in Livorno don't pass up this place! Located in the historical indoor market Mercato Coperto delle Vettovaglie. Fantastic atmosphere, local food, great cocktails, and excellent service. Everytime I am in Livorno I pay a visit!

Situato all’interno del mercato coperto è stata una piacevole scoperta ed è ideale per rifocillarsi dopo avere fatto la spesa. Dispone di posti a sedere sia in un apposito locale che nel centro del mercato. Collegati alla struttura una enoteca, la cucina e un banco dei dolci. Menù tipico livornese senza fronzoli ma di sostanza. Buonissime le acciughe alla povera e le seppie con la bietola. Un po’ gommosetti i tagliolini dello chef al sugo di cicale. Interessante la proposta dei vini. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Posta alll'interno dello splendido ma poco valorizzato Mercato coperto l'Osteria è una tappa che puo' giungere al momento giusto durante il giro turistico della citta'. Senza troppi fronzoli offre un menu ben assortito con piatti della tradizione livornese come il baccala' sotto il pesto, i moscardini cacciuccati, le acciughe alla povera. E anche buoni primi facili come le chicvhe al pesto (genovese in questo caso). Buoni vini, prezzi modici, servizio rapido e cortese.
