Second visit within a week... Originally from Vendoglio but living in Udine for years, we discovered a small but wonderful place! The place is small, but the welcome is warm... the desserts made by the owner are pure poetry, but the pizzerias are no exception! Classic pizzas, not the ones with huge crusts, but very digestible and just the right amount of flavor... the first courses are delicious and served with flair... we'll be back! A very nice place located next to Colloredo Castle, with outdoor dining available in the summer. Exceptional pizza, and the restaurant menu is also excellent. The owners are very friendly and professional. Recommended.

With a medieval flavour, this place is immersed in the context of the Colloredo di Montalbano castle as it represents the old stables. It offers good dishes of some Friulian recipes. The menu is not extensive, but there is still a good choice to taste the products of this land. It also offers pizza, not half-day, with classic recipes but also some gourmet options. Friulian wines, of various kinds, always good. The sober decor is the ancient structure with 2 rooms on 2 levels, offering a nice atmosphere. The service is inn-type, a little confusing... but it makes you smile as the staff manages to resolve everything quickly and on multiple tables at the same time. One piece of advice I can give is to complete your meal with homemade desserts... which are very good in their simplicity. The prices are not bad. Parking on site or on the street near the castle.
