All'Antico Ristoro Di Cambi In Firenze

Extremely good restaurant. I ate the best meat in my entire life here, it was tender, full of taste, overall just perfect. Would come again

I tried papardelle with wild boar ragout - was nice. Crostini - they brought 4 bruschettas of the same type (chicken patè), not assorti. Home wine was a bit tough. I also ordered a bottle of water. They brought regular Aqua Panna 0.7 ml from a supermarket. I drank only half and wanted to take the rest of the bottle to drink on the way home, but they didn't allow even I paid! Isn't it weird? There was no water in the sink in the bathroom, I mean, are you kidding?))

Good hearty food, but nothing special. Decided to dine at the Antico Ristoro di Cambi due to the great reviews written by previous diners. We tried to book later table but indicated fully booked for anything after 18:30 so opted for this time. When we turned up there was only two other tables, the rest was empty and remain less than half capacity when we left at 19:30. No music turned on until around 19:00, it was bland environment. Interestingly we sat next to the food display area and had the experience to observe food preparation for other guests, no gloves worn or any handwashing between activities which was rather surprising. Overall it was hearty Italian meal but it wasn’t memorable. Nothing special that got us craving to come back for another. The pasta was good and grilled fillet steak was nice. For €65 it’s about the same price we would pay elsewhere so not a surprise.

Hopped off the train and had lunch at Antico Ristoro Cambi. Zucchini blossoms with ricotta, followed by a Florentine steak, were just perfect.

Excellent FIORENTINA steak, a rustic, welcoming, warm, and quaint place with young, helpful staff. We'll return every time we pass through Florence.

It was my first experience, I have to admit that the meat is really the best dish in my opinion, unfortunately the bread is without salt. 😅

Excellent traditional local restaurant, with quality dishes and fair prices. The Florentine steak is truly excellent and reasonably priced. All the other dishes are also really good. Highly recommended!

l’attente pourrait en d’écorceur plus d’un. Mais l’organisation de st quasi militaire et rend l’expérience fluide. Dans tous les cas ça vaut bien l’attente. Les sandwiches sont tout simplement délicieux. Pas besoin d’en dire plus ils sont à la hauteur de leur réputation.
