Nice atmosphere at the outdoor tables in this restaurant nestled in a corner of the walls, great for intimate and quiet situations. The menu does not offer many options but offers imaginative solutions. I recommend the beef tartare with burrata and hazelnut and as a first course the trofie with red pesto and lime (I leave a photo). Fair prices for what we ate.

Welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. The waitress who served us was very kind and very polite. Go there and you will not be disappointed. Definitely going back 👍

I was expecting more from this place. To start with, they served another party before us and these people had arrived after us at the restaurant. The food took ages to come and whilst it was pretentiously presented it was not a great deal. My wife’s Baccalà Mantecato was full of cream which is a well known cheap trick , and the white asparagus were wildly overcooked and probably not fresh ones. The whole affair was a disappointment.

On a cold and windy Sunday midday in April, we found this delightful oasis.... an elegant and welcoming environment with an enveloping atmosphere... very kind, smiling and competent waiters, very clean bathrooms... and tasty, original dishes... paired with captivating harmony... even the outdoor terrace at the foot of the tower is truly a gem... in short, we went out when the weather had even changed in the gardens of Castelfranco!! thanks Antico Girone !😍

We went to Antico Girone for dinner and the experience was really positive. The place has a welcoming atmosphere, the kind that immediately puts you at ease, without too many frills but with taste.
The food? Good, well cared for and with quality raw materials. Simple dishes but done properly, those that don't try to amaze with special effects but with flavour. And they succeed.
The staff? Friendly and helpful, present without being intrusive. A service that makes you feel looked after but in total relaxation, which is not always a given.
In summary: a restaurant where you eat well and feel good. Worth keeping in mind for a quiet and pleasant evening. Passed with full marks.

Pranzo tra amiche in questo locale intimo e accogliente, gentilezza e simpatia sono i tratti distintivi di tutto il personale. Che dire dei piatti? Un connubio perfetto tra materie freschissime e mani eccellenti, pesce pazzesco.

Dentro le mura del castello, alla base della torre, in un angolo di storia, questo ristorantino offre un servizio ed un menu di ottima qualità. Da provare assolutamente.
