The best Pappardelle Al Cinghiale I have ever taste! Hats off to the chef. Super warm welcome and well explained concept of the restaurant. we started with Prosciutto e Melone. Stracotto di Chianina and Pappardelle Al Cinghiale. Tortina Fondente al Cioccolato for the dessert.
I didn’t have a chance to take a picture as the dish is already finished :D .
Cannot recommend enough . Beautiful menu and we enjoyed. Took a jar of ragu to bring home with us !

This is one of the less touristy restaurants in Via Santa Maria, where there are many options, and its ethos is to be eco friendly and to serve Tuscan food and wine. We visited on a quiet evening and our server was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the food we chose was freshly cooked and delicious. Whilst the restaurants eco credentials should be praised, some of our group found the use of compostable plates and cutlery spoiled their dining experience, and questioned the value of using disposable items over reusable plates and cutlery. It would be interesting the know the restaurants view on this. However, if you are willing to make this compromise, then Allabona is recommended for dinner and is good value for money.

Whatever one may think of the use of compostable „plastic“ plates and cutlery - we were served good food by friendly staff and paid a fair price for it. Also, the location is as central as can be. There is not much more one can ask for.

The waiter was very friendly and invited us to try a glass of local white wine. It was delicious. The food was exceptional. His recommendation was the wild boar, which was exquisite. The service was pleasant and friendly. We left the restaurant delighted and happy that Mariola had chosen it. It was a great choice to come to this restaurant.

Abbiamo provato 3 piatti (+1): pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, tagliolini al nero di seppia e un tagliere di crostini. Tutti sono stati molto apprezzati, allo stesso modo. Forse mi aspettavo i fagioli all'uccelletta un po' più saporiti, ma va bene. Personale cordiale, politica green già ben descritta nelle altre recensioni. Porzioni buone, mi è piaciuta l'idea dell'entree con una barchetta di pappa al pomodoro.

Locale in una strada laterale rispetto a piazza dei miracoli. A pochissimi metri. Proposta di cucina locale con ampia varietà di gusti. Piatti ben lavorati con ottimo gusto. Ho assaggiato pici all' aglione e spezzatino di cinghiale. Interessante la proposta "green", che porta a prediligere stoviglie compostabili.
