Alla Vecchia Mangiatoia in Mercato San Severino offers ample parking, but the lack of a valet made it impossible to find a place near the entrance to the restaurant, also because on busier days like Saturdays there are so many cars. This can be problematic for those, like me, who use a wheelchair, as the road surface is not in good condition and the route has several disconnections. Even though we had a reservation, we waited almost half an hour to be seated. We were six people and we ordered a mixed menu including pizzas, first courses and sliced ​​meat. Unfortunately, several courses were wrong: the tomato and mozzarella caprese arrived in the form of caprese pizza, and the pasta, requested without sausage, was served with sausage. The food in general was not bad, on the contrary, but the prices of some dishes, such as meat, were quite high compared to the quantity served. For example, €18 for a small piece of meat (good), but served without even a side dish, seems excessive. In conclusion, the experience was decent, but there are certainly aspects to improve, such as parking management and attention to orders.

Nice place even if indoors being small it's too loud, it's difficult to listen to conversations, it will be better in the summer with large outdoor spaces and tarpaulin and air-conditioned rooms. Good food, as well as service, prices not too modest...

Sono stato domenica a pranzo con la mia famiglia. Posto tranquillo con ampio parcheggio e molto verde, compresa qualche giostra per i più piccoli. Buono il tagliere della mangiatoia, per qualità e quantità; nella norma gli scialatielli, sia di terra che ai frutti di mare, ottima la tagliata e molto buoni anche i dolci. Menzione particolare per il personale, pronto e gentile Ci torneremo, la curiosità è rivolta alla pizza che non fanno a pranzo
