I've been here for lunch with friends and also for dinner with family, the friendly Chef Filippo surprised me with some excellent dishes, homemade pasta with seasonal and excellent quality products, grilled meat cooked on the fireplace, a simple but warm place welcoming, very interesting wine list in terms of quality and also at honest prices. The desserts are always homemade and all served by the Chef's attentive and expert mother. What can I say, an excellent discovery in the lower Friuli area, easy to reach with convenient parking, I'm waiting for the summer to also try dinner in the outdoor garden. Highly recommended for couples or families, you won't be disappointed. To return.

Discovered by chance it was truly a surprise. Special dishes characteristic of the place, well cooked; the room furnished with retro-style furniture carefully chosen by the owner who told us the history of some pieces and how even some of the crockery used for serving (plates and coffee cups) are of "vintage" origin. Must try!

Friendly staff, very good homemade food, interesting environment

Non avevo aspettative su questo posto non conoscendolo, una volta era una pizzeria, non facile da individuare ma dicono storico per chi conosce la zona. Informale e inaspettatamente accogliente, serata di pioggia e ad accoglierci una calda atmosfera con caminetto che veramente ti mette subito a tuo agio come fossi nel salotto di casa. Ci accoglie Sabina che scopro poi essere la mamma dello Chef Filippo, persona molto preparata che non ti aspetti, mise en place semplice, servizio molto veloce ed efficace. Materie prime freschissime e di ottima qualità, il menù è ristretto ma molto accattivante, la Tartare di manzo è eccezzionale battuta a mano con un filetto che si scioglie in bocca, raro trovarne di così alta qualità in queste zone. Ottimo antipasto di funghi porcini molto fresci conditi con olio Evo di gran qualità. Tagliolini fatti a mano dallo Chef come la sfoglia della Lasagnetta. Non posso dimenticare di nominare gli gnocchi conditi con un ragù di Fagiano che si scioglievano in bocca. Buona carta dei vini che ovviammente sono del Collio Friulano e limitrofi offerti ad un prezzo molto competitivo e credetemi ottime selezioni. Io ho scelto una carne alla griglia con contorno di patate che mi è stata proposta poi con dei sali ricercati e un altro olio Evo da fare scarpetta alla fine del piatto. Ho ceduto come i miei amici alla tentazione del dolce, uno strudel con una sfoglia ovviamente fatta in casa e tiramisù servito in calice, che dire, dovrò sicuramente tornare per poter assaggiare gli ottimi piatti dello Chef Filippo che è venuto al tavolo per offrire un ottimo Schioppettino come saluto di benvenuto. Consiglio vivamente questo locale per l'ottima accoglienza, le ottime proposte culinarie, vino di ottima qualità e l'onestissimo conto.

A very good restaurant with excellent cuisine. The grilled beef fillet steak was medium rare. The antipasti and pasta dishes were excellent. The The young chef took great care of us and we really enjoyed the atmosphere around the open fire. The surprise at the end was the very low price for perfect service and excellent, honest cuisine.

Tutto buonissimo, abbiamo provato sia la tagliata che gli antipasti, davvero eccellenti. La signora che ci ha serviti era molto gentile e simpatica, ci siamo sentiti accolti, se avremo occasione ritorneremo sicuramente.
