Alfredo e Ada In Roma

Visited on a weekday around 7pm and managed to get a table for two after 30minutes of waiting. Menu changes slightly everyday, but one of their signatures was oxtail - Coda alla vaccinara. This was divine. It does take some effort to dig out all the meat on the tail, nevertheless it was so tender yet juicy. We also had eggplant parmigiana and mushroom risotto which were both good. Homely authentic Roman cuisine The space is tight, and as mentioned in other reviews, you get seated with other patrons in the same table. Price was very reasonable. Location was easy to find. It was worth the wait.

Ah, the famous Alfredo e Ada! Homemade food right in the old town, with insane charm. Is the food really that amazing? I had pasta bolognese ("Pasta al ragu"), and it tasted just like the pasta we make at home - it was tasty, however I would not recommend it, unless one looks for rather simple meal. Lasagna was really delicious. Vitella and blanched zucchini were simple, spiced with mint-like herb. They do not serve any coffee nor desserts, which is fine, as there are many options around. I really like the vibe, and the staff.

Excellent restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Here we share our table with others if we are not full. Enough to meet great people!

This is down a lovely alley away from the crowds. We loved/recommend the artichoke lasagna and eggplant parm. No reservations, just show up 15-20 minutes before opening for dinner.

The food was hot, honey and tasty! Small place and they sat diners on the same tables if needed which resulted in some good conversations :) Well worth the price and homey experience! We went back!

Everything is very delicious, carbonara pasta does not appear on the menu but if they prepare it, it is very delicious, the service is very good. Super recommended

The food was decent, the service too, but it wasn't anything special. We had cacio e pepe, the tripe, and scaloppine al limone. The tripe was better than the rest.

Cuando venimos a Roma, siempre venimos aquí. Es nuestro restaurante favorito en Roma. Los propietarios siempre nos reciben con los brazos abiertos sin importar cuántos años hayan pasado desde nuestra última visita. Esta vez no fue diferente. Mario estaba muy contento de vernos. Nos presentaron a un nuevo servidor, Mimo, que cuidó de nosotros, así como de Mario. Disfrutamos de su casa de vino blanco. Mi esposo tenía su lasaña clásica – una porción generosa de carne y queso lasaña – él era un campista feliz. No podía esperar a saborear su delicioso guiso de rabo de buey, dos grandes porciones de rabo de buey cocinadas perfectamente en una deliciosa salsa de tomate. Estaba en el cielo. Volvimos dos veces más para disfrutar del ambiente y la delicia de Alfredo e Ada. Volví a comer el Oxtail en nuestra próxima visita que fue igual de delicioso que la primera vez que lo disfruté. A mi marido le gusta mucho su clásica lasaña, así que volvió a tomarla. En nuestra última visita, tuve el mejor Cacio e Pepe. Fue absolutamente perfecto. Mi marido tenía su Saltimbocca alla Romana con patatas asadas. Huelga decir que estaba en el cielo culinario como yo. Si vienes a Roma, debes venir aquí. Mario y Mimo le dará la bienvenida!
