Alfredo alla Scrofa In Roma

I have been to this restaurant on many different occasions. They now treat you like cattle. The food was very good. However, we had a waiter that was clearing dishes all night from different tables and smashing they together as if he was above his job. Then, to add insult to injury, he was so much in a rush that he hit me in the back with a plate while setting a table. No apology, no nothing. We were very disappointed.

It's just very overpriced for the relatively small portion sizes. We ordered five plates of fettuccine Alfredo. At 25 euro a plate that was 125 euro total. They mixed it together on one platter and the portions are very small for the kids. They were still hungry.

We were very excited to eat here as our daughter loves Alfredo. Alfredo itself was light on flavor. I had a steak which was good, but not necessarily something I would come back for. We walked up to a very cute busy restaurant and informed them about our reservation and we were whisked to the back of the restaurant which at first we thought was going to be an advantage but it turns out we were put in a room with four booth tables filled with families with their children, including food all over the floor. The kids had all their devices going and whining etc. We brought two teenage children with us, and even one of the other customers seated there commented to his family about how we were so unlucky to be sat in the back room with them. Honestly it soured the experience that they sat us there. We couldn’t wait to leave and were in and out before some of the families even left that were there before us.

One of the places where every pasta lover must be. Famous Tagiatelle Alfredo is the best so everybody should try it at least once in the lifetime. Top class service with very professional and very friendly staff. Absolutelly top marks. It isn't cheap, but it is worth the money.

I and my group of friends have been visiting Alfredo's since 2001. We always visit on the Italy v England rugby weekendand at other times too. It never fails to provide an enjoyable evening-mozarella bomba, fettucine alla casa, tiramisu, vermentino, barolo and a grappa. Meraviglioso !!!

Tagliatelle alla Alfredo is mouth-watering....very refined atmosphere...excellent service.

Wonderful experience!! It was amazing to visit where Fettuccine Alfredo originated and it tasted delicious!!! Super thin fettuccine and creamy white sauce. We got the alfredo for our main and the tiramisu for dessert. As well as a virgin hugo spritz and that was super tasty!! I would suggest every person that comes to rome to at least come here once!

This place exudes personality, style, and quality service. The food, was very enjoyable. I highly recommend Alfredo all Scrofa for any celebration, vacation, or just night out in Rome!
