We went here because I love alfredo and the overall alfredo pasta was very underwhelming. The service was great and so were the cocktails, but this really is for tourists and the truffles were not as fresh as other places we went to in Rome. As a lover of alfredo pasta, I would go elsewhere to be honest - it was neat to hear the story and again, the service was really good - but with a limited time in Rome, I would suggest going elsewhere if your only goal is to try the original alfredo.

This is the only restaurant where I eat any kind of pasta. The reputation of Alfredo's fettuccine doesn't do the dish justice; it's simply fantastic.

My husband and I have booked the "Absolut Alfredo" experience - since I was curious about the original dish. The Pasta dish itself was alright, since it's a thin Alfredo-Pasta (which I enjoyed but still) it was not served al dente). But the tiramisu was good. Most of the waiters were nice and showed the guests that they were welcome. But there was one who, didn't really show much interest or passion for his profession (not the one on the video - he is actually the only reason why I gave a tip). So we didn't feel welcome, first we thought it was because we didn't order wine but he acted the same to different tables. At the end we have payed 70 € for the Menü (in advance) + 14 € for 2 Coke Zeros, so price-performance ratio is not balanced in my opinion.

Go for the fettuccine Alfredo. It's as good as everyone says. Everything else was ok. The eggplant with tomato ice cream was bizzaire. Everyone at the table said including me thought the ice cream was gross.
