had been there on my last trip to Rome three years ago. Quality of food prep of Fet Alfredo has gone down since than. I assume the ingredients (cheese prepared at table, etc) have cost the quality as well as the noddle's were over cooked and too soft/waterly . I had the Tasting meal; the fried lamb chop was delicious

I really anticipated to having the best pasta in Rome here, specially the fettuccini but it wasn’t just a total disappointment. The pasta is not al dente as most would like it was not soft as the rest would like, it was totally over cooked and broken into pices. It was very thin and fell apart on the plate, even worst in the mouth. I did try the sampler and the rest was even worst. Honestly the only delicious plate was the pasta they served the kids with a natural home made tomato sauce for the meatballs, and they don’t even offer that as an option in the menu. I did let the waiters know it wasn’t as expected. That’s me, but I was with someone who has been at the same restaurant more than 15 years ago and said they really ruined what used to be great fettuccini Alfredo. Sad I never got to experience how it used to be.

I feel like I'm having a meal like a countess. Alfredo Fettuccine...actually, it was a difficult taste because I was indifferent to its taste, meaning, and story. The staff’s service, smiles, and hospitality, The restaurant atmosphere is overwhelming and classic. It's worth trying traditional food in Rome.

Overall, we had a lovely dinner here. The carbonara was the HIT in our family and we all thought it was better than the classic alfredo! Service was great, although it was a little slow at times. Our reservation was right when the restaurant opened and it filled up quickly! They were great with our kids (2 and 11) and brought bread for them right away. It would have been more enjoyable if we had gone on a day other than when we arrived as we were all a bit jet lagged and tired. But would recommend and would go again!

Fettuccine is delicious, pass it and cook it in front of you The risotto is normal and the taro is delicious. It is best to book in advance because it is crowded. The service is nice and the place is clean and elegant

De los dos Alfredos (este y "Il vero Alfredo") este es el mejorcito. Comimos bien, la pasta es abundante pero nada en especial, la atención del personal fue automática, fría. Muy caro para lo que es pero la comida no estuvo mal. Igual no vuelvo ni de casualidad.

Siamo passati per caso nei pressi di Via della Scrofa e ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Eravamo senza prenotazione, ma in questi casi è meglio dire che non possono accettare altri clienti. Invece, Pur di non perdere clientela ti dicono che il tavolo sarà pronto in 15 minuti ma passa circa mezz’ora nel mentre sei costretto a stare in uno spazio angusto in attesa che il tavolo si liberi. Abbiamo preso solo le fettuccine ed in 4 abbiamo pagato 25 euro a testa. Buone ma il prezzo è assolutamente eccessivo e fuori mercato. Poi abbiamo avuto una voce di 11 euro definita servizio ma se non chiedevamo il pane nemmeno lo portavano. Una delusione il servizio poco attento e disordinato. Da non ripetere
