Don’t like the atmosphere, food is ok but not something special

The first place we got ripped off in Rome. I think it was a place that was inflated to attract tourists. We went there out of curiosity because it was highly praised and came back empty-headed. If you are very hungry, the plate that comes will not satisfy you. The portion is small and it is 25 Euros. Before giving it to you, they pour almost a plate of parmesan into it and start mixing it, melting it. They serve you the sauce runny and watery. It tastes good but it does not deserve 25 Euros. Also, they do not send you away without adding a cover charge. 1 fettucini alfredo, 1 tomato pasta, 2 moretti, beer and water is 80 Euros. We went there about 4 days ago. The choice is yours.

We had the 80euro per person menu. The food was great . Fettuccine Alfredo can’t be matched. We previously had enjoyed the tasting menu a few years ago. The items served at that time were more interesting. Some meats and cheese, the pasta, a meat course and dessert.

The atmosphere was filled with good conversation, but our server was serious and unengaging, lacking a smile and not offering much help with the menu. Despite this, we enjoyed our visit and the food, and we may return for another delightful experience.

De los dos Alfredos (este y "Il vero Alfredo") este es el mejorcito. Comimos bien, la pasta es abundante pero nada en especial, la atención del personal fue automática, fría. Muy caro para lo que es pero la comida no estuvo mal. Igual no vuelvo ni de casualidad.

Siamo passati per caso nei pressi di Via della Scrofa e ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Eravamo senza prenotazione, ma in questi casi è meglio dire che non possono accettare altri clienti. Invece, Pur di non perdere clientela ti dicono che il tavolo sarà pronto in 15 minuti ma passa circa mezz’ora nel mentre sei costretto a stare in uno spazio angusto in attesa che il tavolo si liberi. Abbiamo preso solo le fettuccine ed in 4 abbiamo pagato 25 euro a testa. Buone ma il prezzo è assolutamente eccessivo e fuori mercato. Poi abbiamo avuto una voce di 11 euro definita servizio ma se non chiedevamo il pane nemmeno lo portavano. Una delusione il servizio poco attento e disordinato. Da non ripetere
