Alexander Bar In Cerveteri

03/01/2025: We stumbled by this place by pure chance around 10pm. The staff was super welcoming and friendly nothing of the usual hustle you experience all too often. The food was great, pasta was Al dente and the starters were great too. I don’t understand some of the reviews here. I’m not a native Italian but was able to communicate easily with the staff. You’re not in Kansas anymore change your mindset guys

02/01/2025: We stopped in here for dinner after visiting the Colosseum and Forum. They seated us quickly and the waiter was quick to take our order. We ordered a pizza with salami which was overall pretty good; fumo di londra which was very good; and arrabbiata which was cooked right, but too salty and not spicy at all. We originally tried to order just two entrees for three people knowing that 3 entrees would be too much food (it was) but our waiter essentially insisted that we order 3 entrees anyway. When it came time to pay the bill, I tried to use a credit card but our waiter said “the wire is down” and offered us a discount to pay in Euro’s. This was a bit sketchy to us so take this into consideration when dining here.
