We spent four nights at the hotel, run by the very kind Mrs. Gabriella, and were treated to the utmost comfort. The property is simple but welcoming and clean. It's conveniently located just a few kilometers from Colle della Maddalena. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner: excellent home cooking, generous portions, and a wealth of quality ingredients (the ragù was delicious). The room doesn't have a TV (though there is one in the common area), and the Wi-Fi reception isn't great, except at the entrance. But that wasn't a problem for us. Highly recommended hotel, with affordable prices, quality, and friendly service.

Worth it especially for the elderly lady: friendly, kind, helpful, good cook: few dishes, very tasty. Garage for the motorbike.

My partner and I were welcomed by Gabriella and her daughters between Christmas and New Year's Eve, and we immediately felt at home. The hotel rooms are exceptionally spacious and warm, and have been completely renovated. Gabriella is a skilled cook; the fireplace in the dining room next to the bar, lit from early in the morning until late at night, is nothing short of fabulous. The locally sourced products used in the kitchen are a special mention; Valeria, their youngest daughter, is an excellent skier and gave us tips for learning to ski in the constellation of ski resorts between France and Italy. The setting is idyllic, especially for ski mountaineering, with powder snow already in the woods adjacent to the hotel in Val Forneris many days of the year! What can I say? A paradise immersed in nature with numerous opportunities for snowshoeing, skiing, and, with a little more effort, mountaineering (on the French side, snow permitting, there is the possibility of gaining experience with sleds and dog sledding).
