I am rating the food only. We ate here in 2022 and had to come back. The nonni hand make the pasta and desserts and they are fantastic. We came out of our way to enjoy a perfect meal. You have to order the ricotta cheesecake. And our waiter Alex is the best!

I didn't stay, but I only ate in their restaurant, which is open to the public, and it was a real discovery. Authentic food, homemade pasta (gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts), seafood, both sea (octopus tentacles on creamed potatoes) and lake (lake appetizer and grilled char, boneless!), all exceptional! I drank both sparkling and still wine on tap, and it was as good as the best bottled wine. The portions were generous...obviously, I didn't eat it all alone; there were two of us. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is highly recommended. A family-run hotel and restaurant – top-quality and tasty food. A fantastic wine selection. A very friendly atmosphere and attentive service. This is our third time here. We've been coming back for seven years now, and it's consistently excellent! We would definitely return to the restaurant and hotel again.

What a lovely hotel with wonderful owners and staff. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the food in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean with a small, typical Italian balcony. Peschiera is about a 20-minute drive away, and the lake is just as easy to walk to. Thank you for the wonderful time we had. We will definitely be back.

We stayed one night in July. Convenient location, welcoming and friendly staff. Clean, modern, and functional rooms. Breakfast was also good. We will definitely return.

Ci saremo passati davanti 1000 volte ma di solito i ristoranti degli hotel propongono un menù abbastanza limitato e di qualità appena discreta. Incuriositi però dalla ripetuta frequentazione di vicini tedeschi abbiamo provato una cena. Gestione familiare ma di un certo livello, servizio disponibile anche se con qualche ritardo, cucina direi nel complesso buona, così come i prezzi. Stupendo il dehor totalmente in ombra grazie a più piante di Bouganvillea che tengono lontano sole e caldo. Abbiamo mangiato bene, unico neo dei classici ravioli al burro versato veramente dozzinali (quando a pochi chilometri si producono quelli eccezionali di Valeggio!). I really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Papa. The staff was really friendly, both at reception and at the restaurant. We arrived by car and next to several parking spaces outdoors, they also have a parking garage across the street, which is also locked during the night. No extra charges for using the parking options. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. A balcony was also available. They also have a lovely pool. Breakfast was good, although I would have appreciated some more veggies. We also ate twice at their restaurant, which offers a good selection of Italian dishes and wine. The food actually feels homemade, giving you real comfort food vibes. The location is fine, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, several other restaurants nearby; ice cream, pizza and shops are also close.

Super nice hotel! Rooms are nice and spacious and look super nice. Breakfast had a wide choice and also had alternatives for people with allergies. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help! Swimming pool is nice and quiet and a good place to sit and relax. The restaurant was also super nice! The terrace is covered with wisteria trees which makes a super nice picture! Food is also really good, all pastas were homemade and super tasty. Overall a super nice experience and definitely recommended!
