We came here just to try the restaurant, not the B&B, and we had a wonderful time, both with the service and the food. We had the selection of mixed cheeses as an appetizer (delicious), served with honey and jam, followed by the shrimp and almond tortellini and two risottos (the one with artichokes and pink peppercorns, amazing, and the other creamy risotto, which, unfortunately, I didn't get to try). To finish, the soft mango and coconut (very tasty) and the crème brûlée (good and delicate). The place and the overall atmosphere are also beautiful; highly recommended!

Despite the rain and fog that ruined the view and magnificent scenery, this hotel/restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. The room, dinner, and breakfast were impeccable. The welcome was warm and the staff were friendly and professional. I won't go into detail, but I highly recommend stopping by. We'll be back as soon as possible. Hats off!

We had lunch in a very beautiful and panoramic room. The menu was varied and well-prepared, and the service was precise and attentive. We didn't give it our all only because the pasta was really undercooked, almost raw. The risottos, however, were perfect. It's worth a visit just for the spectacular view. .

For a dinner in the Brianza hills, I found the Maggioni Restaurant to be the perfect choice: elegant, warm, and welcoming. Perfect for both a romantic evening and a family lunch. The menu is well-curated, and I must say the risottos are truly spectacular—I absolutely recommend them! The service is impeccable, with friendly staff who immediately make you feel at ease. It's one of those places you'll want to return to, time after time.

I was traveling for work and found hospitality at this property. The owner is friendly and extremely helpful. The room was high-quality, I dined in the restaurant, and the food was truly excellent. The wine list is excellent, as is the knowledge of the sommelier who recommends them. Well done, keep up this excellence.

16/03/2026: We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Como. From the moment we arrived everything felt welcoming and effortless. The hotel arranged to pick us up from the train station which made arriving in Varenna so easy after traveling. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the level of service we experienced during our stay. When it was time for us to leave they also dropped us back off at the station which we really appreciated. We stayed in room 104 and the room was absolutely beautiful. It had that classic Lake Como charm but still felt very comfortable and elegant. The room was spotless and peaceful and it was the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed when you walk in. The hotel itself is stunning and being right on the lake makes it feel like a truly special place to stay. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with a great variety of fresh food and excellent coffee. Sitting there with views of Lake Como was the perfect way to start the day. What stood out the most though was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Federica from the concierge team. She helped get everything set up before we even arrived and gave us great restaurant recommendations while we were there. Having someone so helpful made a big difference for our trip. The location of the hotel is perfect and Varenna itself was an incredible place to stay. It made the whole Lake Como experience feel even more special. We will definitely be back if we ever return to Lake Como. Staying here is absolutely worth it compared to staying at a larger chain hotel in Como. The charm, service, and overall experience made this a truly memorable stay.

19/02/2026: A quiet atmosphere overlooking the lake. Friendly and helpful staff, and a menu featuring traditional local cuisine. I found excellent vegetarian and vegan options. The desserts are delicious too!
15/02/2026: Last night we had dinner at the osteria. We thank the lady for her hospitality; the place is very nice and clean. The mixed fried seafood is delicious, and the portion is generous, already served with a side dish. Prices are low compared to other restaurants in the area. Delicious homemade desserts. We'll be back soon. Thank you.
