Extremely friendly staff, delicious and original dishes. The choice not to have an à la carte menu was a curious one; I really appreciated it. The price was absolutely fair and honest.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and the place is small, making you feel almost at home.
I'll definitely be back.

Antica Trattoria "La Vittoria" is an institution in Teramo's city center, at least for true Teramo locals and seasoned tourists, because it's here that you can experience the atmosphere of the old town, both in the architecture of the restaurant and the neighborhood and in the friendly service, not to mention the typical Teramo dishes.
The opportunity arose in early May, a time of year in Teramo dedicated to the consumption of "Virtù." Indeed, the four of us each had a portion of Virtù, followed by a couple of us with seconds, despite the generous portions, as Virtù are supposed to be.
What can I say: very, very good, at least very similar to the ones my family used to make.
Virtù is an extremely complex dish, full of ingredients that must all be cooked and prepared separately and assembled only at the end. The presence or absence of certain ingredients and their relative proportions lead to very different results from one dish to another.
Every family has its own recipe they're very proud of, and it's not uncommon—in fact, it's the rule—for what are now called "contests," which are actual challenges to determine which of the best products they've tasted are.
Yes, because when you make them at home, especially due to the number of ingredients involved, it's difficult to keep the quantities down, so you always end up offering them to relatives, friends, and acquaintances, and receiving some in return.
The menu wasn't fixed, so we relied on the waiter, a very nice guy, albeit a bit clumsy, to tell us the specials of the day. We all ordered at least one main course, while, as usual, I was impolite and wanted to try their mazzarelle. Just yum!
We finished with the Pizza Dolce Teramana and declined the owner's offer of a coffee and after-dinner drink. All for just under €30 per person and the quality of a home-cooked meal, as was the overall atmosphere.
We really enjoyed it, and I must say that even a couple of nearby tables, filled with people from out of the region, who had obviously been well-advised, had nothing but praise for the quality of the dishes they consumed.

I had a main course of roast lamb with a side of spinach. It wasn't exactly made that day, so it was reheated. It was a small portion, half of which were bones, with literally three pieces of potato, since I'd asked for a side of spinach.
€19 with water seemed expensive.

Mi accodo ad altri utenti che sono stati rimasti insoddisfatti dal prezzo.
Ok la cucina casereccia ma in Abruzzo con 25€ di media mangi molto meglio che in questa trattoria.
Premetto che era in settimana la sera,mi quindi capisco che nei week end si è più organizzati,però oltre ai primi di secondi c'è poca scelta,prendo come "secondo"un'insalata con il tonno che non è altro che tonno in scatola svuotato in mezzo a delle foglie di insalata,dolce non c'era e frutta ti dovevi accontentare,io mangio tutto quindi per me no problem.
Sento i miei vicini di tavolo cercare alternative per la frutta,ma in sostanza c'era solo quello che ti proponeva il proprietario.
Conto 25€ primo,"secondo",vino e acqua e caffè e già questo modo furbo di rifilarti un insalata per secondo non mi và bene,poi il conto fatto a carte coperte è un altro trucco del proprietario che gestisce il conto a modo suo.
Infatti mette il prezzo primo da 5€ a 7€ ma il cliente non sà il piatto che ordina quanto costa,poi al momento del conto decide se il primo che hai preso deve fartelo pagare 5€ o 7€.
Siccome sto in città per lavoro vado il giorno dopo a pranzo perchè volevo capire se sfortunato la sera prima,(visto le recensioni positive) si ordina sempre a voce,Arrosticini freddi e riscaldati.
Mentre aspetto il secondo,impegnato a guardare il cellulare per lavoro,mentre si avvicina il proprietario urla qualche parola simpatica che non capisco,allora come si avvicina al tavolo la urla di nuovo ma lui preso dalla fretta e io impegnato sul cellulare mi dà uno strattone alla spalla per riprendere la mia attenzione,dopo ovviamente si è scusato perchè è stata palese anche agli altri commensali la maleducazione.
Conto del 2° giorno 25€,(uguale a quello della sera prima)primo,10 arrosticini,acqua,vino caffè. The owner must have seen the name of the company I work for on the shirt and assumed that they would reimburse me for the meals, so he made a flat rate.
