It is one of the best places to spend days outdoors, on the hills in the hinterland of Bologna! It manages to capture the affection of all its visitors with menus of first courses and meats worthy of a restaurant, even though it is "only" a Refuge! ..not to mention the numerous activities that during the year - especially in the summer - they organize; starting from the events of April 25th <3

The Montesole resistant refuge is a fantastic place. I slept in very comfortable rooms, ate delicious dishes and relaxed on the lawn.

Stunning location surrounded by greenery and with a story to tell, very professional and friendly staff.
Exceptional food cooked with mastery and with high quality raw materials.
I'm just sorry that living far away, I can't go and eat there every day.

Highly recommended. Great food. Fantastic location immersed in the Monte Sole Historical Park. Incredible staff. If you pass by there you can't help but stop.
In summer it is truly a breath of fresh air compared to the heat of the city.

Everything perfect! We stayed for 2 days with my family, the view is dreamlike, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back for another relaxing break.
