An old tavern that has retained its authenticity and old-world atmosphere. Friendly staff and a very welcoming dining room. Homemade food with a deliciously local flavor.
I definitely think it's a place worth at least a second visit.

A trattoria straight out of the '70s and '80s, its menu features Milanese and Lombard specialties, and its simple, authentic cuisine. With bottled wine, the price is around €50, including dessert, coffee, and grappa. In the center of Monza, I'd say that's no small feat these days! Covered paid parking is available nearby.

Visited today for lunch with two friends. We chose nervetti (veal nerves) with onions, cotechino (cotechino) with salsa verde (green sauce), and Montevecchia cheese. Everything was perfect, although the cotechino was a bit dry compared to what we're used to. Then came tripe, rice with ossobuco (veal shanks), and polenta with a selection of wild boar and venison, all well-made. Water, a bottle of Buttafuoco, coffee, and liqueurs, totaling €36 per person. Friendly and prompt service. Clean atmosphere, like a classic trattoria. I'll be back.

Historic restaurant in the center of Monza with simple and abundant local cuisine at affordable prices. Welcoming environment and spirit of an old-time trattoria with the presence of a dessert trolley. In summer, an outdoor space is set up in the courtyard.
I particularly recommend the pizzoccheri and the risotto with sausage.
The service could be more attentive at times.

Founded in 1670, this already says a lot about the history of this place, located 20 meters from the historic Arengario and 60 meters from the cathedral. Traditional Brianza/Milanese cuisine that never disappoints. MUST TRY

Excellent risotto alla monzese.
The only flaw is the quality of the bread.
A characterful atmosphere.
The courtyard is very cute for eating outside in the summer
