Historic restaurant in the center of Monza with simple and abundant local cuisine at affordable prices. Welcoming environment and spirit of an old-time trattoria with the presence of a dessert trolley. In summer, an outdoor space is set up in the courtyard.
I particularly recommend the pizzoccheri and the risotto with sausage.
The service could be more attentive at times.

Founded in 1670, this already says a lot about the history of this place, located 20 meters from the historic Arengario and 60 meters from the cathedral. Traditional Brianza/Milanese cuisine that never disappoints. MUST TRY

We discovered the restaurant while wandering and getting lost in the narrow streets of Monza. We saw the outdoor tables and the menu and thought it was an excellent choice! The dishes were very well served, and the food was delicious! They had a good selection! We loved it!

My partner and I went there for lunch and had a good time.
The dishes are good, the quantity is enough to fill you up but for those who are very hungry I recommend taking two courses. Prices are in line with a historic restaurant in the city center (€35 per tesa, with wine without coffee or dessert).
The environment is simple, but not ugly, in fact the exact opposite: old photographs of the Monza teams are on display in the rooms, as well as copper pots and antique wines that you can admire during lunch.
The service was good, they forgot the 1/2 wine and the second course, but as soon as I asked they immediately apologized and brought everything in a short time.

Bel posto tradizionale molto storico, cibo buono e prezzo corretto. ottimo servizio. sembra un tuffo nel passato con i confort dei nostri tempi. molto bella anche l'atmosfera che si respira.
