Founded in 1670, this already says a lot about the history of this place, located 20 meters from the historic Arengario and 60 meters from the cathedral. Traditional Brianza/Milanese cuisine that never disappoints. MUST TRY

I hadn't been there for some time and unfortunately I was disappointed, yellow risotto with ossobuco (without gremolada) not creamed, two miserable pieces of sausage on the other risotto, dry elephant ear, a shame because in the center of Monza it could offer better ,mediocre service.

Excellent restaurant in the center of Monza, the dishes are simple but well made. Personally I recommend trying the tartare and the first courses. Prices slightly above average, considering that it does not have a "fixed price menu". Friendly and helpful staff.

Buona accoglienza, porzioni abbondanti, risotto buono ma scotto, Tartare buona, tonne’ fatto con maiale ( nel menù viteltonne’) dolci lasciati su carrello non refrigerato e scoperti, in luglio non è il massimo! Ci sono potenzialità, ma c’è da lavorare!

26 May 2024 First Communion lunch. I had the privilege of participating in a First Communion lunch at the renowned "Fantello" restaurant, located in a truly suggestive location. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which made the day even more special. The staff, impeccable and attentive to every detail, accompanied us throughout the entire lunch with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating great care for the needs of each guest. But the real protagonist of the lunch was undoubtedly the cuisine. The dishes, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, were able to conquer the palates of all those present. The flavors of local tradition were enhanced by a skilful reinterpretation, which made each course a unique gastronomic experience. In addition to the excellent food and impeccable service, what made this lunch truly special was the location. Ultimately, the First Communion lunch at the "Fantello" was an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate an important event, where they can enjoy excellent food and have a truly unique experience.

Il locale dispone sia di uno spazio interno che di uno esterno. Internamente l’arredamento è classico e piacevole alla vista, mentre all’esterno il locale ha un aspetto più semplice ma a mio gusto comunque curato. Il menù è vario, anche se devo dire che i prezzi sono un pochino più alti rispetto alla media, ma legittimati dalla qualità delle materie prime utilizzate. Punto a sfavore, a mio avviso il tagliere di formaggi dovrebbe essere arricchito un po’ di più. Il personale è gentile e disponibile.
