An excellent hotel, clean, well looked after, it has all the essentials to be able to rest comfortably and feel good. Good breakfast. Fair price. I advise.

Ein Kurzbesuch bei Freunden in Fresonara stand an. So mitten auf dem Land findet sich ein gutes Restaurant gar nicht so einfach. Fündig wurden wir mitten im Industriegebiet von Tortona. Zum Garten ausgerichtet empfand ich die Terasse des Cerchi als angenehm kühl und vor allem weit entfernt der stark befahrenen Strasse. Gute Frage, also wie wars denn? Vorab: schlicht angerichtete Speisen bei sehr guter Produktqualität. Als Vorspeise einen 18 Monate gereiften Pata Negra anzubieten finde ich mitten in der Poebene schon ungewöhnlich, also kein Lokalpratriotismus. Lecker fand ich die frittierten Salbeiblättchen dazu. Nicht minder die Großgarnelen mit Melone als Zwischengang. Gratinierte Jakobsmuscheln mit Rogen; gleich 5 davon waren ein erstklassiger Haupgang für meinen Begleiter. Das Risotto mit gehobeltem Trüffel war ebenfalls gut zubereitet, auf den Parmesan dazu konnte man gut verzichten. Fast zu viel des Guten dann noch aus drei Dessert Vitrinen. Mit Ristretto schafft man aber mindestens noch die Frutti del Bosco. Abschließden noch eine kurze Bemerkung zum Wein: Neben extrem preiswerten Tropfen finden sich hochpreisige gereifte Weine. Das habe ich nicht ganz verstanden und nachgefragt. Die Antwort: so mancher Mailänder hält auf dem Weg zur Küste an und gönnt sich etwas Besonderes. Na, dann.... Sono tornato in questo ristorante elegante e curato e confermo il mio ottimo giudizio. Ampio parcheggio, personale professionale e gentile, ambiente elegante. Buona scelta di piatti, anche di pesce. Mi sono piaciuti gli spaghetti alla ghiotta e la coda di rospo in crosta. Esperienza molto piacevole

Pleasant surprise. We discovered the hotel last year while passing through and just to stay overnight. Very simple, clean. This year, while passing through, we stayed and also had dinner at the restaurant. The rooms have been renovated; apart from the bathrooms) very simple but comfortable with two bottles of water available which has never happened in other hotels even with more stars, the restaurant is a warm atmosphere a little retro but tasteful with a menu that left us speechless and delicious: in addition to local specialties, there are also fish and raw dishes. A list of wines with an incomparable choice: whites, reds, champagnes and from different territories. Not to mention the desserts: three placards full of every delicacy. Friendly and helpful staff. It will certainly be our fixed stop along the route of our travels. Thank you
