What a discovery! If you're ever in the area, a visit to this restaurant is a must! Not a tourist trap, but a true old-school Italian gem 💎. Family-run, and you can feel the pizzaiolo's expertise! The calzone Bolognese is amazing🎉! You can't eat better than this, and you'll go home happy🥰 and very full. The icing on the cake was that the pizzaiolo greeted us with a handshake and a truly broad smile😁. We haven't eaten like that before, after many, many trips to Italy! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Salute to all 🤩👏👍🙏

Pizzeria La Rotonda

04/02/2026: Simply the best pizza in Rovigo. I've tried it dozens of times, both for takeout and for dinner, and the essence remains the same: crispy, generously topped, tasty, and easy to digest. For those with a bit more hunger, there's also a larger version. The location isn't huge, but it's welcoming and offers good table service. In the summer, you can eat outside with a view of the Tempio della Rotonda. The pizza pictured is a specialty called "Alla Rotonda," with mozzarella, fried eggplant, Taggiasca olives, oregano, basil, garlic (a little), cherry tomatoes, and burrata on the side. Highly recommended pizzeria.

La Piccola Osteria

26/02/2026: A lovely, small place, meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. The menu is also very limited, although they do offer a few extra dishes. The choice is spot on: a few items, well-made (rather than a lot of poor-quality ones), with quality ingredients. The service is friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. Excellent experience. We'll be back.
