Giovanni met us as we staggered in on the first day of the Magna via Francigena. He got us water and then took our packs up to our room! So nice. Room was good, quiet and cool. We stayed for dinner and were welcomed and looked after. Even swapping pet photos. Giovanni made us panini to take away for lunch the next day and organised a packed breakfast for us.

Giovanni and Mimma's hospitality was a truly excellent surprise for us. There were eight of us. Convenient and comfortable rooms, heated and with excellent hot shower. Giovanni didn't even allow us to bring our bags and backpacks into the room, he did everything. And then Giovanni and Mimma are great conversationalists, witty and ironic. The pilgrim's dinner was excellent (only two stages on the Magna Via Francigena path offered this option) and the cannoli was excellent, first prize! And breakfast very early in the morning included in the price: nothing was missing both sweet and savory. Highly recommended! We keep a beautiful memory. Thank you.

Everything was wonderful for me, from the welcome to the structure, from the life experiences to the food. The icing on the cake: one of the best cannoli I've ever tasted in Sicily. Thank you with all my heart!!

We spent a night during the journey of the Magna Via Francigena: Giovanni and Mimma welcomed us warmly (after having clarified about the booking) and pampered us by bringing our backpacks to our room, hanging out our laundry and bringing it back to us the next morning. The room has everything you need: comfortable beds, shelves to place things on, an en-suite bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast is perfect for walkers: sweet and savory, with hot drinks/juices and fresh fruit. The cannoli prepared by Giovanni is fantastic: with fresh sheep's ricotta. Absolutely not to be missed! Given our experience, we recommend going beyond Giovanni's rigid ways in taking reservations in order to meet an honest and helpful man.

Il proprietario é stato gentilissimo, aprendo il ristorante anche se in orario di chiusura, si é preso cura di noi con molta attenzione, la cucina casalinga semplice e gustosa, una chiaccherata simpatica e i migliori auguri per il proseguimento del nostro viaggio. Consigliato!
