Closed for holidays August 10-17, 2025 There are various menus, starting at €12 with various all-inclusive options. Combo 1 includes a first course, second course, side dish, dessert, microfiltered water, a glass of wine, and coffee. This little place is under the porticoes of Piazza Alfieri. I've had lunch there many times, and it's been a pleasure. The sheltered porticoes allow you to eat outside in any weather. The house wine deserves a special mention (the sparkling white is special, but the Barbera is also pleasant). Very clean and tidy, including the bathroom. Among the desserts, I have a weakness for the crème brûlée. The lasagna, made in many ways, is delicious. The plin with Barbera sauce is very light and flavorful. The Bra sausage is a real discovery. The variety of dishes is varied, all expertly prepared by the young chef. __________________ Among the first courses, I'd mention the excellent tajarin with a delicious sauce (e.g., anchovies the first time, or olives and sun-dried tomatoes) and perfectly cooked. For the second course, for example, I had an unusual (for me) smoked swordfish with arugula, fennel, and mushrooms. The dessert was a coffee + chocolate cake + ice cream. For dessert, we had a wide range of bunet (a type of pastry), sorbet, panna cotta, melon, etc. (every time a surprise). Excellent value for money.

Highly recommended! We chose two meat-based menus, including an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, water, and a glass of wine for €19 each. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A la carte options are also available. The location is central, with plenty of parking right in front.

Good food but they are disorganized, they brought me a dish from another menu, it has never happened to me, prices a bit high, 2 Sunday menus and 2 coffees 44 euros

Every time we return to Asti we stop here for lunch, the food is good, there is a choice between various pre-defined menus at 12 euros or à la carte of course, kind and fast staff with always fresh quality and carefully combined, we will definitely return next time as the combinations always change.

Midden in Asti uitstekend geluncht. Geweldige prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Vriendelijke bediening. En waar krijg je een halve liter lekkere witte wijn voor €6 ?
