Alba la Grigliata In Casoria

The quality of some of the raw materials remains good. The service, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired. A very long time to have a tartare. A plate of raw fish with only nine (I repeat 9) pieces, at a price that I consider excessive for what is offered. Also, unfortunately, with truly awful mussels. Two children who shook up the evening by screaming and fighting between the tables, disturbing the dinner of many customers without anyone intervening. For goodness sake: nothing against children, but you would like to have a peaceful dinner. I have been going to this place for over 30. I have already had a bad experience on other occasions. But this was the last time. And I am sorry about it.

Couple outing, midweek dinner. We order mussel sauté, trio of marinated dishes, paccheri with half a lobster and tufo greek. At the end of the dinner we order ricotta and pear for dessert and then a babà. Everything is very good, excellent paccheri and babà. Average prices. Quiet atmosphere. Friendly and nice waiters. Recommended!

After seeing the ad on Tik tok dinner on the 23rd (Napoli match) I booked a table for 2 people with a fixed menu for 20 euros per person, in the ad the dishes seem not abundant, but fair. Up close I was a little disappointed, miserable dishes, meatballs (4) that looked like olives given the size and 90% made of breadcrumbs, parmigiana really the size of a crocche of those tiny little ones, first courses ragù with max 10 rigatoni spread out and served on a flat plate to make them seem abundant, and what about the dessert. Tiramisu the size of a gianduito. Satisfied with the drinks for the Italian fried food, and for the fast service. Maybe the owner didn't expect a significant turnout (and maybe that's why the dishes were poor). You'll tell me what you expected for 20 euros? I'll answer you stick to what you advertise and not to what is then served. I'll go back to give a further review.

Very fresh fish and excellent mozzarella

Abbiamo scelto Alba - La Grigliata - Casoria (NA) per due momenti speciali: la cena di laurea di nostro figlio e, pochi giorni dopo, il pranzo di Pasqua. La cena di laurea è stata elegante e raffinata, con un menù completamente a base di pesce: antipasti di mare curati, primi delicati, secondo di orata al forno con contorno, dolce finale con frutta fresca e torta di laurea. Servizio attento, atmosfera accogliente e grande disponibilità da parte dello staff. A Pasqua, il menù ha celebrato la tradizione: antipasti rustici, rigatoni al capretto, pasta e patate con provola, grigliata mista alla brace, insalata fresca, macedonia, pastiera e babà. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Aglianico Campania IGP. Un grazie sincero ad Alba, a Carmine e al signor Tonino per la professionalità, la passione e l’accoglienza autentica. Ci torneremo con gioia, per nuove occasioni e anche solo per il piacere di mangiare bene e sentirci a casa. È raro trovare ristoranti che uniscono cucina, cura e cuore: qui succede ogni volta. Consigliatissimo!

UPDATE – Easter lunch 2025 After the splendid graduation dinner, we returned for Easter lunch. This time too, everything was impeccable: rich menu, tender goat, juicy grilled meat and perfect traditional desserts. Thanks to Alba, Carmine and Mr. Tonino for the warm welcome and attention to every detail. We will also be happy to return for other special moments: when a place makes you feel so good... you never leave it again!

A pranzo di Sabato con la famiglia. Personale garbato, locale pulito ed accogliente, cucina a vista e cibi preparati al momento. Una pecca quella di non specificare gli ingredienti nel menù aperto da qr code, sarebbe bene specificarlo, LO CONSIGLIO onde evitare spiacevoli disguidi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo
