My experience at Vesuvius is absolutely positive in every way... the cuisine, with very attentive and qualified staff to meet the diners' every need, strong points include first courses and second courses of fish without underestimating the excellent pizza

Very important place, highly recommended, top experience... after years we managed to find a restaurant that meets our expectations, very well trained and friendly staff... cuisine with great attention to detail... raw specialties... special pizzas.

As already mentioned in our conversation (we should have talked but nothing) unfortunately we were not satisfied. Done 80km. We had 3 starters, two first courses, wine etc. In short, €120 spent.
I was there for lunch with a friend. I took the raw mix, the gratinated mix plus the octopus and two other courses. I don't know if you treat second class customers differently...
Yet you show on Instagram all these beautiful images of colorful dishes with fruit and chopped pistachios or something else... I received a dish with 2 prawns, ONE scampi, 2 oysters and a tartare. Salmon on top and tuna on the bottom which was practically a forkful. Rest sadly on the ice. No fruit, lemon or colored sprinkles.
The au gratin "slammed" on a flat plate... a holy head and all mussels. Nice and dry too.
Honestly it was a disappointment.
Evidently the tables with more people were treated differently but I don't find it fair. We also discovered that they should have brought us some focaccia while waiting for the courses, nothing even that.
Everyone is very kind, nothing can be said, the environment is also nice (unfortunately chaotic and the tables are pushed together but this is the place), but we expected much more, a little captivated by the advertising you do.

From where I live it's a bit out of the way, but friends invited me, so I wanted to try it, I ate a pizza, usually the pizza here in the North isn't the best, fast yeasts are used, the pizza remains crunchy, but not very digestible, in Naples the pizza dough has little yeast, and is leavened for 24 hours or more, the pizza remains soft and digestible, the rest is done by the ingredients, pizza mozzarella, poor quality raw various seed oil , should be avoided, unfortunately many people make pizza very badly, to the detriment of a dish known throughout the world.
The pizza here was good, I gave 3 stars because something is always missing, but the pizza is soft with the right ingredients and definitely good, the mixed fried food is good, but not fresh, good portions, the prices are high...
