First time at Vesuvio, seen on social media. Good quality of raw materials. Kindness and helpfulness of the owner and his collaborators. Excellent cuisine, raw seafood appetizer and exceptional first courses, only shame about the fried food, good fish but..with a little attention to frying. 5 stars but I would have given more.

Fish lunch, on Saturday. Excellent mixed fried food and lightly peppered mussels sautéed, very good. Fast service, attentive and very kind staff. I recommend without a doubt

The quality of the food was excellent but they got lost on the trio of first courses that they recommended to us because we were a table of 13 people and they didn't want to make too many different first courses... one of the 3 recommended first courses (fish ravioli) is not enough for everyone.... (We only ate 3 ravioli each).... We had to request them another time to ensure that everyone had ravioli...

I've been to this place several times and it really surprised me. Excellent pizza, more than innovative and particular dishes, very fresh and top quality fish. Always excellent homemade desserts, modern and adequate location and truly friendly staff, attentive to customers. Go there or you will miss a lot….

Food: average first courses, prices too high, both as appetizers, first courses and second courses Service: the waiter who serves outside (Pakistani??) doesn't let himself finish talking and brings the wrong dishes (twice) on Sundays people want to have lunch calmly, instead here there are 3,4 waiters at a time. In short, too chaotic and breathing down your neck service!! Average high price

Nice restaurant, nice and modern.
Normal quality of fish: lobster good but tuna and shellfish I didn't like.
The crudo, so praised, is nothing special and is really expensive in relation to what they serve: €50 for two for 4 tiny tartares, 4 oysters, 4 prawns and 4 scampi. Among other things, they put a lot of basil leaves in the raw fish which, when in contact with the fish, makes it taste only like basil and all the flavor is lost.
Pasta with lobster was very good.
The pizzas/focaccias didn't look bad at all either.
The main problem of the place is the service and the environment. Too crowded restaurant, lots of people and tables too close together so much so that the waiters sometimes had to contortionate to serve you.
Therefore, due to the limited staff and the limited space, in the face of so many people, the service is hasty and the experience is not very enjoyable.
Maybe I would come back for the pizza and during the week, absolutely not on the weekend.

Lovely Italian restaurant with the classics like pizza, pasta, and meats, but the focus here is FRESH seafood. Very busy local restaurant, place was full! From sea urchins, octopus, prawns, and fresh whole fish, they have it all and incredibly delicious. The price for what you are getting is also VERY fair. Such nice staff, they do their best to speak English we do our best to speak Italian and meet in the middle. Thank you Al Vesuvio, we will be back! :) Ciao!
Amazing fish specialities, fresh and excellent quality raw materials. The type of pizza they make is not my favorite (low and crunchy crust), but I certainly can't say it was bad. Prices appropriate to the quality.
