An old-fashioned osteria, with simple, authentic food and friendly, approachable staff. A true experience of a less touristy Trieste.

Local trattoria with very tasteful food, we will definitely come back when around Trieste. We had a pleasant lunch, left our plates empty😋

The staff is prompt and attentive to the needs of guests and their four-legged friends, if they're brought along... there's ample outdoor space (shaded by a pergola). Very good food... a wide selection of appetizers... very fast service. Accompanied by smiling and cheerful staff (which is always a pleasure).

A hot plate, but not only. Highly recommended.

A proper osteria, no frills but with plenty of substance. From the calda to the "rebechini," with a special mention for the dessert, the "zavata" or "carsolina." The price is a pleasant surprise. Excellent, kind, and almost too honest. For me, who returns to my hometown three or four times a year, it's a must.
