Clean, excellent food and sandwiches, excellent for a stopover

We came across it by chance on a Saturday for lunch (it's near the Risiera di San Sabba), the place was packed but we booked takeaway and ate at the tables outside. We had a great time, simple but excellent dishes, pleasant house wine, very friendly staff. We come from Bologna, which was once full of taverns like this: now only expensive places for tourists. Nice to find places like this.

I go there for a corporate meal convention, I feel good there, the staff is very friendly, the food is good and the prices are honest.

Small... it's better to book to be sure of finding a place... in good weather there is a very nice pergola outside... you can eat food from Trieste and beyond... excellent dishes, great price, I recommend having lunch here for those looking for our Trieste

We go there at least 3 times a month, "using it" as a location for our meetings with relatives, the place is "old" and should be renovated, but it is part of the local atmosphere of home! You eat hearty foods like our grandmothers did, but you feel good and leave satisfied!

We stopped for lunch on the advice of friends who live in Trieste and we were really satisfied. Very varied menu, fast service, very friendly staff. We hope to return soon.

They brought me here after telling me about the place several times. Characteristic, informal and rather noisy and lively place. Wide choice of dishes for all tastes, some of which are very tasty and unique. Good quality bulk wine. Price more than fair. Fast service and attentive and helpful staff. Well done, actually, very good.
