Characteristic little place found by chance before the visit to the Guggenheim, we had a great time, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food, fresh fish and quick service, the place is small but with constant turnover and thanks to the speed in arranging the place settings you can eat without wasting time. Fair prices

Restaurant offering many typical dishes. I recommend the cod trio, excellent and with generous portions. The black cuttlefish with polenta is also excellent, but the portion is a bit small. Good prices considering Venice and the tourist area.

We tried the new management and I have to say we were extremely amazed by the quality of the food and the service. 5 stars well deserved from starter to dessert. Chapeau!

3 is his rating. Small place with attentive and friendly waitresses. Paper equipment. Fast service. School canteen food, but with Venice prices.
The trio of cod wasn't bad, the rest was edible, except the bigoli which were actually spaghetti (wtf?!?) with salt salt salt and a hint of fish.

Finally returned to Venice with my husband after two years. We treated ourselves to a dinner in this Venetian trattoria. To us it seemed romantic and cuddly. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food. We ate excellent saor, excellent fish. We would have tasted everything. Fast service, normal prices. We will definitely be back 😉
26 April 2025 returned after a few years... management and chef changed and therefore goodbye to real bigoi in sauce, we're not quite there, the sardines in saor are acceptable, the dessert can be saved but they don't have a great choice (this wasn't even the case with the previous management). Friendly but slow service, there is no longer the family atmosphere of the past

Eh no no, siamo ritornati dopo 3 anni...cambiato il cuoco e la gestione ( sono subentrati i figli) prima era molto più famigliare, ma soprattutto i " bigoi in salsa" erano superlativi, adesso vanno bene per i palati "foresti" che non conoscono il piatto. Peccato veramente! Le sarde in saor erano accettabili, così come il dolce. Il servizio gentile ma un pochino lento, per la cena non è un problema ma a pranzo potrebbe esserlo.

A local favourite of ours we come here all the time. Perfect for lunch stopover, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We come back where every time we visit Venice.

Piccola osteria con personale gentile e dove non si pratica il coperto (cosa piuttosto rara in Italia). Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: spritz con cicchetti, pesce alla griglia con contorno e una torta Sacher strepitosa. Alla fine, prezzi contenuti per un bel pranzo a Venezia.
