Historic Osteria, always there for more than a hundred years, at an entrance to the city (Porta Garibaldi). The guests change, the family owners are always there. Public parking spaces in front of the door are free and sufficient after 8 p.m. At lunchtime either paid or free parking in the side streets (Via Antonio Ugo or Via Gian Filippo Ingrassia)
Closed on Sundays, otherwise 12-15/ 19-22.

Sicilian family restaurant run by its owners. Very good food at a very good price. Cozy atmosphere. I recommend the sea salad and the pasta alla Norma.

The food was ok, nothing special but good. However, I strongly suggest you pay attention to the bills because the coperto card shows the amount of 1 euro per person and we were charged 2 euros. Additionally, the ordered paste cost 6 euros, but the bill showed 9 euros. During our stay, all guests asked the staff again when they received the bill because something was wrong.

We came for dinner twice because everything was very delicious and at a very good price. Special mention to the vegetable caponata. Spectacular!!! Good service, familiar and friendly.

Tipica trattoria di altri tempi a conduzione familiare con cucina tradizionale. Tutto ottimo, dal cibo al servizio alla disponibilità ad un costo contenuto. È veramente come essere a casa e se si viene in posti semplici come questo, penso che sia la cosa più importante che uno cerchi. Se ritornerò a Palermo spero di ritrovarvi ancora tutti. Complimenti. Ovviamente Consigliatissimo.
