06/04/2026: We discovered it in a truly critical situation, but we will gladly return because the food is worth it and also—I must say—the service is truly excellent.
For Easter 2026, we had booked Easter lunch ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE at PASCUCCI AL PORTICCIOLO, a restaurant we'd never been to but which had good reviews.
I called and asked if they were open for Easter, and the answer was yes.
I insisted, specifying that not all of them are open at Easter, but the lady who answered, very polite and friendly, said they were open and then asked me what time we would be arriving.
I clarified that we would be arriving at 1:00 PM and gave her my last name, although, strangely, she didn't ask for my cell phone number.
However, when we went there for Easter, we found the restaurant... CLOSED!
A shiver of horror ran down my spine, so I went to ask for information at the nearby restaurant, which was open and packed with people.
It was, in fact, MIMMO-OSTERIA DEL PESCE, and—I must say—he really saved us.
He somehow managed to get us a table, and he let us know that Easter has a fixed menu.
I must say, it was a delicious lunch, so plentiful that we ended up leaving several items on our plates because we were truly full.
Overall, it was a good thing: we discovered this excellent place and are very happy with it.
We were also impressed by the attentiveness of the waiters.
For example, even though the place was crowded, as soon as our water bottle was empty, they immediately brought us another one; we never had to call the waiter.
I'm really happy to have discovered this restaurant, which I didn't know about and which is also a bit hidden.
The place is simple, but worth every penny.
We'll definitely be back, and I think it will become our favorite place!
