Historic pizzeria and restaurant in Roccaraso. Excellent pizzas, pasta dishes, meat dishes, and desserts. Friendly staff, and despite the spacious dining room, service is quite fast. Prices are reasonable.

I returned to this restaurant where I've been a regular for years. I returned on Saturday after two years. But unfortunately, I didn't find the same characteristics as always. I was disappointed, especially because there's currently a disproportion between what you eat and what you pay. In short, four first courses, a portion of arrosticini, and two soft drinks cost €101. A single portion of 10 arrosticini costs €20.00. In short... This place has lost that atmosphere of a not-so-distant past. In fact, while it has always been very crowded, This time it wasn't at all. Something has changed, and not for the better, unfortunately.

We returned to Il Tratturo Restaurant in Roccaraso after trying it in previous years, and it proved to be a sure thing. The place is pleasant and well-kept, and the food reflects the local tradition—everything is truly delicious. The staff is kind and attentive, and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Recommended without hesitation!

04/01/2026: A small, cozy place in the center of Rivisondoli. We ate and drank very well. The owner was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable in recommending local wines. Very fair prices and high quality. We'll be back.
30/12/2025: A wine shop with a wide selection, especially local wines and more. Guests at the family restaurant (Giocondo) receive a discount on purchases. Fair prices and friendly service. The restaurant also sells Giocondo amaro, a real treat for lovers of the genre, and is also available at the restaurant.

La Locanda di Mariella

26/09/2025: We found this inn by chance, looking for a convenient place to stay for visiting Campo Imperatore and the Gran Sasso by motorcycle. Upon arrival, my wife and I were a little disappointed when we saw the place from the outside, but we dropped off our bags and set off. When we returned that evening, we found a simple but beautifully renovated room. The welcome was excellent, the room with bathroom was clean and very tidy, and the bathroom was perfect. The dinner, what can I say? Wonderful, with excellent house wine. I definitely recommend it.
15/09/2025: Great rooms at a very affordable price with friendly staff. Close to l’aquila and not far from campo imperatore
