On the road to Pietransieri, there is this very well-known pizza restaurant in the area. I assure you that it makes excellent pizza, the starters are also good. Fast service even though it was full, affordable prices.

Very nice place, attentive, fast, polite and friendly service and excellent food!!! Only one flaw as a service worker, I would have liked to see a few more hats in the kitchen.... anyway 10 and praise!!!

Very attentive and friendly. The kitchen is very correct. Especially pasta and pizza Remind foreigners that pizza is only available at night, like in other establishments in the country.

Honestly from the reviews I expected much better. Unfortunately both the focaccia and the pizza were burnt. For 10 skewers €20.00 which I don't know if is in line with the prices in the area but they weren't exceptional either. Very fast service but the bill was certainly too expensive for 3 people for not having eaten anything particularly good or elaborate. Tried it because it was highly recommended but I wouldn't go back!

Ci siamo seduti a pranzo in un giorno infrasettimanale a fine Luglio senza prenotazione ( fortunatamente non tutti i tavoli erano occupati), buona l' accoglienza, tavoli ben distanziati, servizio abbastanza veloce, cibo buono ed abbondante: abbiamo ordinato due porzioni di agnello alla brace, due insalate miste, una porzione di patate al forno ed una di verdure grigliate, una bottiglia di acqua ed un caffè, tutto buono, ma prezzo a mio parere un po' elevato: Euro 74,50

Locale distante dal centro di Roccaraso, posto al di là della statale, la location esternamente è anonima; l'interno è costituito da una ampia sala che favorisce tavolate per festeggiare eventi rumorosi e anche quando siamo stati noi ce ne erano un paio. Il menu è abbastanza ampio sia di ristorante con piatti della tradizione montana abruzzese, che di pizze; buona anche la scelta dei vini e delle birre; abbiamo cenato con pizze potendo scegliere sia pizze classiche rosse che pizze bianche; abbiamo preso una bianca norcina (salsiccia e funghi) e una parmigiana (praticamente una margherita con melanzane a funghetto). L'impasto delle pizze non è il classico morbido alla napoletana ma corposo e morbido anche se si raffredda; gli ingredienti sono di buona qualità anche se non abbondanti; la pizza nel complesso è buona. Il servizio è preciso e veloce il rapporto qualità prezzo è equilibrato.

06/08/2024: We arrived a little late after we visited Campo Imperatore... Chef Tony was very kind, sociable and courteous... Even though it was already late, they were kind and we ate the Abruzzese kebabs!!!😋😋😋
28/07/2024: We booked for Sunday, wanting to spend a day sheltered from the city heat. Nice location, with tables outside, on the veranda and also inside: it is obviously a mountain restaurant and on the slopes, but taste has not been left aside either. We started with roasted pecorino: excellent cheese fillets breaded and fried, accompanied by balsamic cream, honey and fresh fruit. Excellent, more than the classic Teramo fried cheese we are used to Followed by gnocchi with speck, courgettes and saffron; very good and creamy (since I'm a goat, it was missing a little bit of salt, but that's my problem). Excellent aubergine parmigiana and wonderful grilled scamorza with honey and walnuts: all accompanied by sautéed turnips. Friendly, quick, efficient service which did not put my wife, a vegetarian, in any difficulty. With water and wine, the bill is €51 for two: it invites you to come back. We'll be back.

27/08/2024: The small place in the center is very nice. Fireplace and open kitchen. The dishes are quite good, the meat sauce and the soup are good. On the downside: expensive for the portions and recipes, small portions and kebabs finished at 9pm... which for Abruzzo is quite absurd. The dishes were good but the platter very ordinary. Portions not adequate for the price. I don't understand how we can talk about excellent value for money when the portions are small, the cured meats are ordinary and it costs €18 per serving minimum.... The lamb was so small that the waiter came to add it of his own free will
