Welcoming place with many tables, average food quality... disappointing mushroom pappardelle and gnoccoloni with fontina sauce and ham quite good, the meat is also good but the portions are a bit small, high prices I would say for some things are disproportionate.

Intrigued by the many ads on TikTok, we visited Il Tratturo in Roccaraso on a Friday evening. We enjoyed excellent arrosticini, a veal loin, roast scamorza with sausage, and a portion of baked potatoes. Everything was quite good. With a water and a Coke, however, we spent almost €80. The staff is very friendly; we recommend making a reservation because it's always busy. It wasn't an unforgettable experience.

We've been coming to this restaurant for several years and have always enjoyed the excellent food, the efficient and fast service, and easy parking. Both the pasta dishes and the pizzas (only in the evening) are excellent. A welcoming, typically mountain restaurant. We'll be back many more times.

14/10/2025: The restaurant has been renovated, the dining room is very large. I tried the pinsa today and it was truly exceptional. Last time I had the ravioli with cod and they were very good, filled with cod with cherry tomatoes, basil, and raisins. The ravioli with sauce and Chianina beef were also good. The side of broccoli rabe was good, the arrosticini were tender and flavorful. The tiramisu was creamy and not very firm, but everything was really delicious. The wine, cococciola by the glass, and the service was impeccable. Truly excellent dishes, well-made with top-quality ingredients. Thanks, see you soon.
