All in all, a truly unique experience – steak cooked over an open fire in the fireplace, something I'd never experienced before. At first, I was skeptical, as I initially wanted to order something from the menu, but when I saw the steaks, I took the plunge and didn't regret my decision. The meat was so tender and flavorful – the best I've ever eaten.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. A truly wonderful surprise! Fair and fair prices for the quality offered, and the staff is motivated, kind, and attentive. The cuisine is excellent: excellent risotto, top-quality meat, and very good wine. As a celiac, the absolute best thing was being able to eat practically the entire menu without any worries. Everything was available gluten-free, and even the desserts were almost all gluten-free (except the biscotti). A rarity and a huge added value! The place is rustic and welcoming, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Thank you so much to the entire team for a wonderful evening!

At the Tuscan restaurant, only meat... A name you can trust!! Let Cristiano recommend you; you won't be disappointed! We had the Tuscan prosciutto and the mixed pecorino cheeses with chutneys. The Galician rubia, though... I'm speechless!!! DIVINE!

Five of us went for dinner. I'd read reviews about the owner being a bit gruff, but we had a great time. He explained the origins of the meat and the animals' diet to us in a clear, unfussy manner. We had excellent appetizers, especially the amazing tartare and Colonnata lard, and two different types of steaks for five of us to share. The steaks were truly excellent, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The server was competent, serious, and polite, and always available. A few more smiles every now and then would have been nice. Unfortunately, since we had to drive, we didn't order any wine. The price was relatively high, but it was absolutely appropriate for the food and not more than we expected. Definitely recommended.

28/02/2026: Incredible service from waiter Fabrizio Balestrini, we were treated wonderfully, and the sandwiches were top-notch! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to fill up on a budget. 🔝 Warm atmosphere, not too crowded (February 2026), and professional staff!

22/03/2026: …on my way to Trieste!!…I stopped here!!…for a short break!!…it's Autogrill Duino Sud!!…it's the last motorway stop…before reaching the border!!…and it's located along the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway!!…clearly in the direction of Trieste!!…wide selection of sweet and savory items at the counter!!…and there's also seating available both inside!!…and outside!!…large space!!…with friendly and helpful staff!!…lots of displays with merchandise clearly visible!!…typical and non-typical products!!…everything and more!!…here at Autogrill Duino Sud!!…☕️🥐🧑‍🍳⬆️🎉👍🥐‼️
