Embassy of Tuscan cuisine well rooted in the Trieste scene: rustic in form, simple in the menu but rich in substance. The card is in fact not very extensive but still versatile both for "light" orders and for routes built around the powerful "large displacement" cuts, depending on daily availability. Highly trained and skilled manager in detailing the characteristics of the meat to best meet the tastes of the guests. Wine list set up with good complementarity with the menu. High bill but reasonably commensurate with the quality of the raw material. A classic for fans of the genre

A wonderfully simple, homestyle restaurant. The Florentine-style steaks are outstanding! In the main area, there’s an open grill where the chef prepares the meat to perfection right before your eyes. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the best spots for quality meat dishes in our region. Highly recommended!

A Tuscan island in Trieste. Specializing in Tuscan cultured meat dishes, and with a menu made up of a few dishes, but which focus on quality, Il Toscano transports you to Florence for a few hours. In addition to its majesty, the Chianina, it is possible to taste other fine meats. On the wine list, Chianti and Montalcino reign supreme. The grill, located in front of the entrance, welcomes you, both with heat and with delicacies for the eyes and palate. A beacon of light for meat lovers for years. Young and trained staff who illustrate all the proposals. Here you will find pieces of meat from all over the world, more or less fatty and matured to the right degree.
For cheese lovers don't forget to get it as a starter. It will be served accompanied by fig mustard and an amazing Tuscan honey.
