Al Tocco In Siena

Good restaurant, we ate pici all'aglione, not excellent, but good. I must say that the mixed grill was a bit poor, but good, especially the Cinta Senese sausage. To finish, the truly excellent tiramisu. I count in the norm. Update: just to reply to the owner that we did NOT have a second course in 2, but 2 second courses of which 1 mixed grill and a plate of Cinta Senese sausage only made up of 3 sausages. I defined the barbecue alone as a bit poor and not the entire meal. Overall, however, I defined the bill as normal.

I was here passing through, without inquiring beforehand and I must say that I was pleasantly satisfied. We took the pici and I must say that they were excellent, consistency, cooking, seasoning, everything perfect, finishing the dish with the "slipper" of excellent bread. The dessert was a little disappointing, a shame because after such good first courses one expects them to end on a high note. I think the desserts are not artisanal but come from outside and packaged. Given the quality of the handmade pasta eaten, it would be better to make some homemade desserts even if with a limited choice. Only for that reason I don't give 5 stars, because the service was impeccable, even if the room was full, everyone was very kind and helpful. I would say the prices of the first courses are average, perhaps the dessert priced at 7 euros was a little too high. In conclusion I recommend it, but with reservations, the first courses are certainly worth it.

Everything was excellent but the carbonara... unique

There were two of us and we opted for the two tasting menus. Both simply delicious. The portions are generous (not your typical tasting with measly portions). The staff were courteous and welcoming. Really highly recommended!

It has now become a fixed stop for us, it is a place that we almost carry in our hearts. We usually get pizza from here, whether it's at the table or takeaway it makes no difference, it's still delicious. Sometimes we even happened to try other dishes on the menu, such as carbonara with the addition of truffle cream (photo) and we were certainly not disappointed. The staff is very approachable, helpful but also ready to keep you company with some nice jokes. The restaurant, outside the walls, gives you the impression of taking a breath of fresh air from the chaotic city center with an atmosphere that distantly recalls the tranquility of the countryside. It is well maintained, with a simple but at the same time particular style, with attention to the smallest details. We would have added more photos but most of the time the pizzas don't have time to arrive at the table before they're finished, let alone if they have time to be photographed😂 - Ala and Chiara

Excellent experience. Super approved tasting menu.

Stopped by chance during a motorbike ride. From the outside it didn't appear to be inviting, but once inside things changed. The menu is full of many things to try. All very good and good portions. The girls were great and made us feel like family. Without neglecting the times, as we were passing through we had tight deadlines, they understood and acted accordingly. If I pass by again I'll definitely stop

Per gli amanti dei ristoranti dai sapori veri e buoni, e soprattutto non turistici, questo ristorante fa per voi! Siamo stati accolti col sorriso in questo splendido ristorantino con un vista spettacolare. I profumi dei piatti che ci hanno inebriato all’entrata non hanno deluso le aspettative: pici dai sapori straordinari, i migliori mangiati fino ad ora! Per non parlare della Fiorentina: top! Consigliatissimo, e se ricapiteremo a Siena ci torneremo!

Locale pulito, comodo, la toilette da 6 … il servizio più che soddisfacente anche se potrebbero accelerare un po’ i tempi … però … cibo ottimo … pici meravigliosi e chi dice che scotti non conosce i poco e farebbe meglio a sta zitto !…
