The food was honestly only ok. The lady will fill a tray with random stuff, way too much than you'll actually eat and you need to ask her to remove stuff. Take like €10 worth of stuff off what she proposes (it's done by weight). Octopus is extra beyond this pile of sea creatures. The starters are served cold, which wasn't very nice for me personally. The fish is simply deep fried and is fresh thankfully but quite bland beyond that. The baby squid was not prepared correctly, with bone and ink not removed which was not great. The sardines were nice, shrimp was nice, anchovies were bitter.. just a very mixed bag. The atmosphere is not great either, bad music and fluorescent lights. Fine overall but just go to a market to eat fried fish/octopus/squid whatever you like during the day and go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner. That's my recommendation

The atmosphere is reminiscent of the Vucciria market: noisy, authentic, and for this very reason, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We chose fresh fish to cook for us and ate it at the tables after a short wait, but there were also many delicious ready-made dishes. Everything was delicious and topped off by the friendly staff, a whole family who know how to make themselves remembered. It was the end of September, so it wasn't very crowded.

Yummy freshly prepared vegetables dishes at 5€ a plate. Followed by beautifully cooked fresh fish which you just point and choose and get a quote(25€ for two) The place has a lively feel to it even for an October lunchtime.

Seafood so fresh, we had to come back the next day. Good service and staff, i see the simple and professional all at once.

You chose from the presented, mostly ready-to-eat food what you like - very nice. Vino de la casa was excellent!

Typical food, fresh fish of the day cooked to order. The owners are friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The traditional Sicilian cuisine is also excellent.

It's perfect for immersing yourself in Palermo! Catch of the day grilled or mixed fried, truly fair prices, and excellent food! Highly recommended.

A truly traditional and quaint place. We had a huge fried fish for two, delicious and with a wide variety. I highly recommend the experience, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. The price was very reasonable, €42 for two, and we left stuffed.
