Al Sorriso In Palermo

So we went in and got seated. We were shown a QR code to scan to view the menu. Soon after, we got to place our order and not too long of a wait we received our food and drinks. We ordered 2 pastas which were both average.... I was expecting a lot more quality for the price, but it wasn't bad in any sense but just not as expected after seeing all the good reviews and prices per person on Google which is 20-30€ per person for this restaurant. It all felt pretty rushed I can understand that it was probably getting busy for the waiters and like any job for anybody everyone's just trying to get through and doing their best. Another one thing I noticed was that we got no complimentary bread but everyone that was seated after us received a small basket. I don't think it is complimentary, maybe it's under the corperto charge which I paid 2€ for each person. I know it's standard in restaurants here but I received all the basic services throughout my dinner in all other places.

We were recommended this restaurant for lunch, and we truly loved both the service and the food. The food is excellent, serving large portions at a very good price. A truly Sicilian culinary experience. We'll definitely return when we're in Palermo again.

This is the best restaurant , I’ve eaten in Palermo in my one month stay. Everything is so delicious, fresh, and authentic. We loved their caponata, various pastas, and pistacchio swordfish 😋

Excellent quality food and very fresh fish and very low price. Sicilian chef doc. Very kind and helpful waiters. The only flaw is that it is not located in a beautiful neighborhood

Our apartment was just a few minutes' walk away. I ordered two pasta dishes to go. Both were still piping hot when we got back to the apartment. Both tasted delicious. Just what you'd expect from pasta in Italy 🤝🏽 Service was super friendly and attentive!

In zona stazione, con possibilità di mangiare all'estero, che è molto meglio del locale interno dove l'illuminazione è un po' fastidiosa. I piatti sono ben preparati e risaltano i sapori del territorio. Gli abbinamenti sono interessanti e ben riusciti. Versa trattoria per mangiare bene a prezzi ancora contenuti
