What a delicious surprise. This place is all about the food - and it's an incredible value for the price. My wife and I had the Sicilian appetizer (variety sampler) and Boatwoman pasta (swordfish and eggplant), which was perfect for two people to share. Flavors in each dish were subtle and got better and better with each taste. If you're near the train station and want some quality food, this is the place.

In zona stazione, con possibilità di mangiare all'estero, che è molto meglio del locale interno dove l'illuminazione è un po' fastidiosa. I piatti sono ben preparati e risaltano i sapori del territorio. Gli abbinamenti sono interessanti e ben riusciti. Versa trattoria per mangiare bene a prezzi ancora contenuti

03/11/2025: A family-run workshop that produces biscuits, cannoli, and cannelloni. I especially enjoyed the latter, which were very soft and perfectly fried.
01/11/2025: Fantastic cannoli. We’ve come here 4 days in a row for breakfast cannoli or Catorccini (ricotta donuts). Almond biscuits are also great. They weigh and add up everything correctly, and very friendly to tourists.

Agriturismo parco vecchio

07/01/2026: Agriturismo located in the Marineo countryside, a rustic place steeped in history where the food is delicious and refined. Affordable fixed-price Sunday menus include a selection of delicious appetizers as well as first and second courses expertly prepared by chef Ciro Princiotta. Visit in spring and summer to enjoy the beauty and freshness of the countryside. An experience worth trying, or, as in my case, repeating. From your Filippo Livorno, aka Tigerman.
22/12/2025: I went there for lunch, the food was decent, but I personally expected something more special that would make me want to come back. It's a bit difficult to get there due to the very bumpy road. I would focus a lot on traditional foods (even revisited ones) and a lot on quality and quantity.
