Al Settimo Cielo del Paradiso In Taormina

I did not stay here but went to the rooftop bar. The view is amazing. Drinks and snacks were excellent. Being in Taormina while the evenings are still cool, this is the spot for an indoor aperitivo.

Well-run hotel, very friendly staff. Valet parking worked excellently. Our room, 335, was an ideal size with a view of the sea and Mount Etna. Breakfast on the 6th floor was perfect, with attentive service. Major drawback: A terrible musty smell in the newly renovated bathroom. The hotel couldn't remedy the situation. The only storage space is the vanity, which is lined with spare rolls of toilet paper. The hairdryer hangs in a cloth bag on the towel radiator. The mirror is disadvantageous compared to the window. There is no makeup mirror. The bathroom window had to be left open at all times, otherwise the stench would have been unbearable. This made the room cold in the first week of March. The bathroom was therefore spartan. Therefore, one point deducted. We were annoyed for giving it 5 points!

It's fantastic. Everything is perfect. It's a 10-minute walk from Taormina Bus Terminal on a narrow but almost flat road. It's at the beginning of the main street, so it's good for a walk along Via Umberto. The Greek Amphitheater is just around the corner. Above all, the sea and etna view from the room is amazing. The room is large and clean. When you check in, they give you a map and give you detailed explanations of places to visit nearby.

The hotel's location is impressive; I had a room on the 4th floor with a direct view of Mount Etna and the sea. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants, and a 7-minute walk from the Teatro Greco.

The room condition is so-so. However, the heater in the room I stayed in made a loud noise periodically even when I turned it off... I couldn't sleep well. Other than that, it's good. All the amenities are soap, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste. The reception and restaurant staff are all friendly and the breakfast is decent. City tax is 4 euros per person per night, and if you have a car, it is 30 euros per night (valet parking fee). There will be a ZTL sign on the way up, so if you are coming to this hotel, you can just enter. Please stop briefly in front of the hotel and tell the reception so they can take action. I think it's a decent place for one night or multiple nights.

The locations of this hotel is right on the outside of the busy town. Everything is within walking distance and you’re right by stores and restaurants. The view of mount Etna as well as the ocean was fantastic. Especially from the rooftop bar The rooms are very nice and you come back to a very clean room every day. They even took the time to organize some of our things for us. The bar on the roof of this hotel is fantastic. Drinks are great and they bring out little appetizers. The breakfast is also amazing. We got our breakfast and sat out on the balcony. One of my favorite parts of the days. The service was great. We enjoyed talking to the staff and they were all very kind to us.

Excellent location, unique bathtub set up with breathtaking views. All Taormina is in comfortable walking distance from here. Service is very friendly and forthcoming, a little toilet flush hickup was fixed immediately. Luggage storage after/before stay works well. The bathroom is super pretty with beautiful tiles all around spreading luxury vibes. Little improvements include light bulb check (some dimmers and light bulbs are broken in the juniour suite) and touching up general wear and tear (shower tap is getting rusty/worn out, electric roof is jamming at times (needs servicing)). Keep in mind it's at a road-triangle sort of situation which can get traffic noise during night time. Loved the views on NYE over the entire part of the island, truly magic! Breakfast was decent and covers all the essentials plus some. Valet service available at extra charge, some street parking available as well (assuming in high season valet makes more sense).
