Everything was delicious...
But I don't think I've ever eaten such a delicious risotto!!
If we return to Stresa, we'll definitely be back to try the other delicacies on the menu.

Excellent restaurant serving typical local cuisine. The risottos are excellent. I recommend the cheese fondue on a hot stone, served with potatoes. The desserts are all delicious.
Highly recommended.

We chose to have lunch at Rustico because we've known this restaurant for years (we have a house in the village) and it's always a guarantee, both for lunch and dinner. The best cuisine in Someraro and the surrounding area. Authentic local dishes with genuine, locally sourced ingredients, cooked simply and tastefully; generous portions and excellent value. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. We recommend it to anyone who loves good, refined, home-cooked food, not the touristy kind like other restaurants in the area.

Bij alle geschreven beoordelingen was te lezen dat het een kwalitatief goed restaurant was dus vol goede hoop hier naar toe gereden. Eerst een groot gedeelte door de bergen moeten rijden vanuit Stresa, een weg waar je U tegen zegt. Vervolgens waren wij de enige in het restaurant, de man die ons bediende was ook de kok en kwam erg nors over (ondanks dat hij waarschijnlijk erg zijn best deed). We hadden vieze glazen, borden waren niet mooi opgemaakt, het eten van mijn vrouw was erg droog en mijn lasagne kwam 100% uit de magnetron. Gelukkig maar €45 betaald en niet ziek geworden van het eten..

Cercavamo un posto tranquillo e un po' meno turistico, "Al Rustico" si è rivelata una bella sorpresa.
Cena in famiglia al fresco della veranda in un ambiente informale e gentile. Una tartare fresca e ben condita, molto buoni i tortelli con ragù di cinghiale e le tagliate sulla pietra ollare. Solo un calice del buon vino della casa (barbero d' Asti).
Ottimo il tiramisù e più che buono il crem caramel.
Speriamo di ritornare in un periodo meno caldo per assaggiare polenta e funghi!
