Trattoria al Rio has maintained its authenticity and authenticity over time. I returned after 20 years, and my partner and I stayed one night. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The location is strategic, both for visiting the Abano spa and for visiting Arquà and the surrounding hills. The food is top-quality, especially the bigoli, cakes, and wine. Furthermore, Emilio, the owner, is very kind; I wasn't feeling well, so he brought chamomile tea to my room. The price was extremely competitive for both dinner and accommodation.

Trattoria specializing in grilled meats, especially Maremmana beef. The meat is truly delicious, tender and flavorful thanks to the aging process. The red wine in bulk is equally good (Cabernet). The staff, mostly young, provides quick and friendly service. Excellent prices.

29/11/2025: I wasn't familiar with the place. Friends took me there for lunch. Beautiful place, near the Bacchiglione River, a quiet spot, ideal for leaving the kids free to roam freely, without any dangers. The atmosphere is typical of an old-fashioned trattoria, with tools and accessories typical of farmhouses of long ago. Daily and à la carte menus with an excellent selection of both fish and meat, with a grill and embers that just the sight of it promises succulent dishes. Quick service, even when the place is full, and SUPER friendly and professional staff. The wine selection is also excellent, both in bulk and by the bottle. Prices are average. I recommend it and will definitely be back! 😃 👍 💯
28/11/2025: In my opinion, the best restaurant in the area, and probably in all of Padua based on my experience with meat. Friendly staff with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fish is very good, but as a carnivore, I recommend the meat. Breadsticks with lard and ribs or Florentine steaks are unforgettable. Congratulations, keep it up.

03/01/2026: The food was homely and really good....I felt right at home and it's no coincidence that the entrance looks like a typical farmhouse. The staff was friendly and wonderful. We'll definitely be back.
