⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got takeaway which was perfect for us. Really friendly staff who spoke English and helped us choose. Menu was simple and easy to read. I got mixed fried seafood (calamari, octopus, shrimp and small fish) plus octopus balls. Tasted amazing! Really fresh and delicious. Great prices - really good value for money. Simple food but so good! Highly recommend for tasty seafood in San Foca.​​

The food was quite good, the raw fish was very good and fresh, the rest was so-so, fried calamari and prawns full of oil, grilled cuttlefish and calamari was decent, tuna slices were quite good, service was decent, waiters wandered around uselessly and pretended not to notice when you called them,

If you are looking for a "starred" restaurant I recommend you go elsewhere. If you are looking for good seafood and fish, well cooked and with quick and friendly service, then Capitan Morgan is the place for you. Few frills and lots of content. Special mention for the frying: excellent!

Borghi d'Otranto

11/05/2025: Pierre was amazing, as had an issue with the melanzane and arancini (both non veg but not listed as such); however he offered alternatives in a friendly way and the food we had was lovely. There is a dessert with amareno ice/cream, buonissima!
09/05/2025: Such a wonderful experience, all hosts were so accomodating and came back every night that we were in Otranto. Can’t wait to come back, it’s a must visit!
