Magnificent experience, the 3 of us chose to taste their "Al Poggio" appetizer (hot and cold) what can I say... flavors that make the palate happy followed by a delicious "Arrosto Misto", a sliced ​​​​beef with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar and finally we had two pizzas, both cooked well and very good, a 10 to this place for food, service and hospitality ☺️

If I could give it 10 stars, I would without hesitation. Ristorante Al Poggio is much more than just a restaurant: it's an authentic experience in the heart of Puglia. As soon as you enter, you feel at home. The atmosphere is traditional, with a family touch that makes you feel relaxed from the first minute. The staff is attentive, smiling, and professional: they make you feel like a guest, not a customer. The dishes? Extraordinary. Fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and an attention to detail that you can see and taste. From the rich and authentic appetizers to the traditional Apulian first courses prepared as they once were, to the perfectly cooked meats... each course is a journey through the authentic flavors of the region. The quality-price ratio is more than fair, considering the extremely high quality of what's served. Perfect for: • romantic dinners • family lunches • special occasions • or simply to eat well, really well If you find yourself in the province of Bari, Poggiorsini is a must-see. I will definitely be back... and I will recommend it to everyone ❤️

I recently visited the Al Poggio restaurant and left with mixed feelings. While the day was enjoyable, there are some aspects that deserve more careful attention to ensure a truly rounded experience. ​The initial impression was certainly positive: the atmosphere is pleasant and well-maintained, ideal for socializing. Kudos to the staff, who proved to be courteous and very helpful. Despite the lack of a printed menu—a shortcoming I always consider a limitation of customer transparency—the staff compensated with good information, allowing us to make informed choices about the day's offerings. ​The culinary offering is deeply rooted in the local area, yet with a touch of originality. The chef's touch is evident in the first courses, where one senses a desire to dare with less conventional combinations (more "secular" than the local tradition). ​The intent is commendable, even if the execution wasn't always entirely convincing: the orecchiette with Pallone di Gravina fondue, for example, had somewhat disjointed flavors. ​Despite the area being famous for its Despite the generosity of its products, the portions were a bit subpar, especially the appetizers, which were decidedly too small. The mixed roast meat was better, both in quality and quantity (finally acceptable). The only flaw was the cooking of the "gnummeriedd," which were left on the stove a bit too long... The desserts left a good memory. The fixed price of €50 per person seemed, ultimately, a step above what would be a truly fair value, especially considering the shortcomings in the initial portions and the small technical flaws. Al Poggio is a place with considerable potential and a lovely atmosphere, but it should pay more attention to the generosity of the dishes and the precision of some pairings.

A typical and almost unique restaurant where you can enjoy many mushroom specialties. The Cutridd is special. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

We visited this traditional restaurant with friends, known for its local specialty, cardoncelli mushrooms, which were served in various ways according to local tradition. We also had local cured meats and cheeses, followed by two first courses, one featuring mushrooms (tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle cream) and the other legume-based (orecchiette with white fava beans and fried onion, with capocollo), both very good. We then ordered two meat dishes (sliced ​​beef with parmesan and arugula, and liver rolls, both cooked to perfection). The house wine, a Nero di Troia bottled by a local winery, was good.

We went here for Sunday lunch. There was nothing to complain about the service, except for the lack of clarity regarding the starting price of the set menu. The portions weren't very generous, especially the meat, so much so that we had to order more, obviously all off the menu, which added an unknown price to the bill.

09/03/2026: I really like this place... I've been back after a while and everything is always excellent... the first courses, the panzerotti... the waiters are really kind and the atmosphere is very family-friendly... I recommend it.
09/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly staff, but a word of advice: if you really want to cook authentic Bari food, go for quality! The food was poor... everything was frozen except the pizza, nothing special anyway... not to mention the bill... 3 dirty mussels for €15... crazy... we won't be back.
