Lovely place. Fast and courteous service (perhaps a little too fast given the cold food). It's a shame about the bench seating, which isn't ideal for those with back pain, but certainly very rustic.

Let's be honest... it's not for everyone!! Getting there by motorbike, despite years of experience, is always a challenge... but as soon as you sit down, order, and start chatting, it feels like you're out of this world... you're transported back to the good old days... and what you eat is poetry, like the setting itself. I'll definitely be back, because it's worth it, and it's worth it, and it's worth it again!

Beautiful little restaurant typical of the Carnic region. Very welcoming and homely. The owners were very kind and attentive to us, who happened to be there on bikes. Local and traditional products. An experience I highly recommend.

A unique place, I've known it for a long time, and it's always a pleasure to return. The road is in good condition coming from San Francesco, and on weekdays, peace and quiet are guaranteed.

Al Giro di Boa

24/10/2025: We had dinner with friends and had a great time. The cuisine was carefully prepared in keeping with the traditions of the Valleys. The pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi are a must-try, and the Frico was excellent!
11/10/2025: Intrigued by the INVITATION TO LUNCH IN THE NATISONE VALLEYS (from October 4th to December 8th, 2025), we chose Al giro di Boa as our first restaurant and.....a wonderful surprise!!! A sincere, straightforward menu, without frills but made with so much passion and love, and I immediately said to my mother, "There's a woman in the kitchen!" Yes, I want to meet her. I loved the whole-wheat Palacinka with leek and speck...the pork tenderloin with prunes...I can't wait to try all the other dishes on offer. Highly recommended!
