The 5 stars are well deserved I would have given 6 stars, the food has been homemade and outstandingly delicious. The service has been perfect to the fingertips. This restaurant deserves 5 stars, i would have given 6 stars. The dinner has been homemade and outstandingly prepared. The service has been of the highest league. Bravo

Thank you for the good food and the sophisticated, friendly service! Going out to dinner in Lignano without a reservation (on a Saturday) is a real adventure. It was difficult, but Al Piccolo Cason made it possible. A cozy restaurant, a varied menu, and very good service. The prosciutto with burrata (starter) was excellent, the spaghetti vongole and carbonara were outstanding, and the prosecco was cold. All in all, a culinary delight with a fine ambiance.

Lunch on Easter Monday, we chose this restaurant and, fortunately, we found a place. Very welcoming place, very friendly and helpful staff. In addition to the menu you can choose from the proposals of the day. Everything fresh, well prepared and cared for. The mise en place is also excellent. The wine selection is also of high quality. We found the value for money adequate. Definitely recommended.

Warm, welcoming. Refined and discreet. Property and courteous service staff. Interesting menu with strong innovative features. Wine cellar suited to the offer. The construction of the menu entirely woven around the quality of the raw materials and the distinctive new elements included was appreciated. Starters, first and second courses which, while maintaining the characteristics of the best tradition, have been reworked and embellished.

Very cozy restaurant with a good selection of seafood dishes. Nice ambience, great service and fine food. The staff is very accommodating. Recommended if you like Italian cuisine (not pizza!).

06/07/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant during a day at the beach. Among the foods, all quite good, a very tender octopus salad stands out. The environment suffers a bit from the confusion of the large outdoor area, which resembles a beer house. I slightly penalized the service for two reasons: when booking we were expressly assured that the menu had options for celiacs, but in reality the first courses were all gluten-free (one could reply that some second courses were gluten-free, but that's how it is in any restaurant). The second reason is that a minute after ordering we asked if we could change a first course, but we were told that it wasn't possible because it was already cooking. Ok, that's fair enough, but the service times were much longer than the cooking time of the dish, and this raises some doubts.
02/07/2025: Unfortunately it is very loud during peak times when eating in the evening...the food is very good...
