Al pellegrino In Vicenza

After Holy Mass at the stunning Basilica of the Madonna di Monte Berico, we stopped for lunch at the nearby restaurant 'Al Pellegrino'... we had a wonderful time, everything was delicious, from lunch to dessert, everything was impeccable. We immediately tasted the freshness and authenticity of the food, all homemade!! The staff were very kind and helpful, the place was very welcoming, and the garden was beautiful... all this to say we'll be back!

Very large place with outdoor space. I stopped by to have breakfast and ask for information. Well organized service. You pay before you consume.

After hiking up Monte Berico there is no better place to stop for a cappuccino and a nice view over the city.

This morning after the mass of Monte Berico with a friend and her mother we went in for breakfast, very clean place, impeccable service, kind and organized staff, I noticed a vast choice of croissants, the pizza and savoury counter very well looked after and the gentleman at the cash register very kind and professional I recommended it to many people when they visit the Madonna and I always go back very willingly, compliments indeed

We went yesterday for lunch after visiting the sanctuary of Monteberico, the staff were kind, the food was good as usual, the price would be adequate if the portions had been a little more abundant, especially the asparagus lasagna which was good but a small portion as was the chicken, potatoes and polenta dish.

Historic place in front of the church of the Madonna di Monte Berico, a destination for many pilgrims from which it takes its name. Over the years there has been a passage of managers (for a period it was closed) but the place has always been in the hearts of the people of Vicenza. Self-service cafeteria restaurant A special mention to the shaded garden that overlooks the splendid panoramic view of the city and that alone is worth the visit.

Very nice environment, good food with a very varied menu for all tastes and needs, the girls were very good, kind and helpful. The gentleman in charge of the room was very professional and very kind. The choice of packaged biscuits and various desserts is wonderful. We will be back soon. Alexandra.

We had been here before.. Nice place. We return almost a year later and the quality remains good, but we were shocked by the increase in prices. An example. A simple shortbread biscuit with a little chocolate on top chosen by the child Euro 2.50. Exaggerated in my opinion.

Beautiful! A must stop if you are in Vicenza! Located on top of Monte Berico, with plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting with amazing views to the city. They have lots of pastries, cookies, sandwiches and paninis to choose from. For drinks they serve coffee, wines and fresh juices. Lots of veggie and gluten free options too. They also have a shop where you can buy all their products. Everything is nicely packed. The place was clean and tidy. Love!
