There were a lot of people, the restaurant was very popular so the staff were stressed and rather unfriendly.

A beautiful wine bar in Neive, nestled in the heart of the Langhe. Spacious interior and a lovely outdoor terrace where, with friends, we enjoyed an excellent aperitivo featuring excellent cured meats and cheeses, friciule (fried bread) and wine (or non-alcoholic). Everything you'd expect from a Langhe wine bar is here. The lady who took our order was very kind, as was the young man who assisted us by clearing the table of empty plates during the aperitivo. The perfect end to a wonderful day in Neive.

The eggplant parmigiana was amazing!! So fresh. And the Russia Salad was also delicious. Should try if in Neiva.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. Staying at the Castelbourg, I took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy an aperitif here... and what can I say? Between a perfect wine, a skillfully crafted mix of cheeses and cured meats, and a pinsa DOC, it was a truly unforgettable experience, and for me, a true "zero mile" experience. The staff were knowledgeable and truly talented.

Ci siamo recati in questo locale a seguito di recensioni online. Abbiamo optato per antipasto misto. Ci è stato servito una piccola entrée. Servizio top, curato ed anche la ragazza che ci ha servito ci ha consigliato al meglio per il vino di accompagnamento. Inoltre, non da poco, è apprezzata la spiegazione dei piatti, nonostante si trattasse di un semplice tagliere di salumi e formaggi tipici. Dolce buonissimo, torta alle nocciole! Consigliato!!

Metti che ci troviate nelle Langhe e vi va di passare per Neive che è davvero ma davvero un borgo carinissimo e curato, potreste dover scegliere dove fare una sosta per un bicchierino di vino e qualcosa di sfizioso da mangiare... Ecco in quel caso provate Al nido della Cinciallegra. Magari fuori, all' aperto... Non ve ne pentirete.

Casa Scaparone

14/10/2025: A fully restored farmhouse in the heart of the Langhe region, offering traditional dishes revisited with great care. The beautiful interiors alone are worth a visit. The service is attentive and friendly.
13/10/2025: Was so pleased with this experience in the beautiful hills of Piedmonte. The staff were so friendly and patient with all our questions. The rooms were charming and i especially loved the deep claw footed tub. And of course the food was amazing-Umberto and his staff go above and beyond to create flavors and meals that are beyond food but experiences of the beautiful land they source their ingredients from. Stayed at a four star hotel the next night and it didn't not even get close to matching the comfort, hospitality, and beauty of Casa Scaparone. So grateful we discovered this place and were able to make amazing memories here.
