This year, too, I went to pray to the Saint in Padua, and as usual, I stopped for lunch. I wanted to try the "Trattoria storica AL MORETTO" and was very satisfied with my choice. It's strange to consider what is actually a restaurant a trattoria... very clean, tables with tablecloths and cloth napkins, excellent service, delicious food, and, of course, the price is more like a restaurant than a trattoria... but in my opinion, that's the way it should be. If you eat well, in a beautiful setting, with excellent service... you'll gladly pay a little more but leave feeling satisfied and contented. That's my opinion, and for all this, I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Padua trying to decide where to stop for lunch... and enjoy your meal.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night with my family. From the outside, it doesn't look inviting at all, but inside, the place is simple but charming, very clean, tidy, and the service was satisfactory. The wait just meant more time was spent preparing the dishes, so I personally don't rate it negatively. The food was delicious (the starters were amazing), as were the fried fish and the peppery mussels. The portions were normal, although a little more, especially with the starters, would have been greatly appreciated. The prices are absolutely fair. The staff is courteous and attentive. Truly good...and good people. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

I have to be honest: I don't go here as often as I used to. But every time I return, the atmosphere... the ambiance... never disappoints. I was with two officials from a well-known insurance company. I report their more than positive review.

The staff are friendly They throw the bread on the table , the food was normal not so tasty ... my friend had spaghetti, another had the fried chicken with salad on the side ... I've had this fried chicken with fries ... the fried were not fresh , the chicken was okay ... we never came back again

16/11/2025: To celebrate our anniversary, my partner decided to take me to dinner at this beautiful restaurant. A wonderful surprise; the food was divine, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, and the service impeccable. The food was excellent, with meticulously prepared dishes and excellent wine. For the first courses, we opted for two off-menu dishes, and they were truly spectacular. An unforgettable evening, both for the company and for this restaurant. It has definitely become one of my favorite places to visit, and I'll definitely return.

16/11/2025: This is my first time dining at this restaurant, having previously only tried the aperitivo option. As for the service, there's nothing to complain about: the staff is attentive, friendly, and very helpful. The menu, while not overly extensive (a characteristic I appreciate over overly long menus), offers interesting culinary options. The fried egg appetizer is truly amazing, and the legendary "Segni" cutlet is definitely worth a try. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars—and this is purely a matter of personal taste—is the layout of the dining room at the entrance. I'd prefer separate tables, but currently there's one long table with small booths. When the place is crowded, conversation can be difficult because you're crowded with other diners. Despite this, it's definitely worth a try.
12/11/2025: A quick lunch with excellent food and wine. Excellent, fast, and courteous service, with excellent recommendations. All at a fair price. I recommend it and will return.
