I've been here several times with my wife and have always been very satisfied with the quality of the food, the ambience, and the value for money.
This time we were here with a group of 10 friends and, with the very attentive service, we were able to arrange a special menu (the same for everyone): a small portion of each of the offered starters for each of us, accompanied by the matching wine (from the in-house winery), and dessert at the end. The quantity was just right; all the dishes were very good and offered a good overview of Friulian specialties. The price was more than reasonable; we were all very satisfied.
As with all good restaurants, always make a reservation!

This place was recommended to us by the lady at our hotel. Although our expectations were already high, as it was described as the best in Cividale, they were not only confirmed but even exceeded. The dishes were each better than the last, the quality of the ingredients was exceptional, all accompanied by their excellent home-produced wine and, above all, the incredibly kind staff, especially the owner. Heard of it by so many people. Today we went for lunch. We ate well, excellent service. You can already tell when they take command the great professionalism. Dishes prepared with elegance, portions just right to taste everything. Fair price for the quality of the raw materials and the service. Really thank you we will be back as soon as possible

A top-notch restaurant in a former abbey. Beautiful rooms and a garden restaurant in the former courtyard. Excellent wines and fine local Italian cuisine (Friuli). Very friendly service. There were four of us.

Everything super from the bread to the breadsticks, the first courses, the meats, the wine. Really excellent. We had two first courses and two second courses and a dessert for two, a beer and two glasses of wine for 107 euros. Deserved. The filet wrapped in ham was special

We came across this delightful place during a holiday.
We were welcomed very well by Cristina, the owner who pampered us with her preparation and immersed us in the best traditional dishes.
We got really delicious cold cuts and raw ham.
Then we ate the monastery cjalcions and the monastery turnedos.
What can I say, unique flavours, maximum attention and a unique experience.
Almost the entire menu is gluten-free and there is a lot of attention to diets.
Having traveled a lot we can say that it is, without a doubt: the best culinary experience we have had.
