Bel locale storico nel centro di Cividale. Ambiente con una bella atmosfera, personale cordiale. Ottimo il mangiare che spazia dalla carne al pesce. Per un primo (buono), una tartara (ottima) ed un dolce (ottimo) con due birre ed un caffè abbiamo speso €65.

Beim Eintreten wurden wir vorerst stehen gelassen, obwohl weit und breit keine weiteren Touristen da waren. Einmal am Tisch wurden wir speditiv serviert, aber auch hier, ohne grosse Leidenschaft. Hier fehlte mir die "Italienità".
Das Essen war in Ordnung und der Preis eher im oberen Segment.
Für mich ein typisches Touristenlokal.

Historic inn, well-kept, welcoming location, there are several rooms, each more beautiful than the other. We stopped for dinner, although we didn't have a reservation we found a place but the place filled up quickly. The service was discreet, punctual, present and competent in explanations. The first courses and desserts are highly recommended, beautiful and well balanced in flavours, the alternation of flavors is fun. We will be back!

Very well eaten, including tuna tartare with apple (!) foam, rabbit ham, bistecca Florentine style, pistachio mousse. Rather expensive, but the quality is okay.

wonderful restaurant with fine cuisine and good wines. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. This is how you imagine a good restaurant to be.

It was already apparent on the phone when making the reservation: the manager, an older lady, was not in a good mood. My telephone reservation, made in Italian, was grumpily accepted. When you arrive at the restaurant: same thing! The lady hardly says a word, looks sullen and gestures towards the table with a wave of her hand. Once you get there, you can decide where to put your coat yourself. The rest of the staff makes an honest effort to compensate for the manager's mood. But this is only partially successful. So in the “mood” we check the menu, which comes in a sticky plastic cover and is placed on the cutlery.
The dishes on offer are quite unusual and obviously typically Friulian. Starter, hare carpaccio and main course ravioli with duck. The wine selection is rather limited... only a few organic wines on the menu. If you order 1/2 liter of house wine Chardonnay you will be given a bottle and have to pay for the whole bottle...
All in all: no recommendation... we felt like we were being used... also because the staff, apparently under the manager's thumb, rushed breathlessly from table to table.
The only plus point: it was cheap: €90 for two people, starter, main course, “1/2” bottle of wine and a grappa…
