I am returning here regularly, this place is by far the best choice in Orvieto. Menu is short (as it should be) and changes according to season/available ingredients. During the past week I tried almost everything on the menu, no disappointment! Plating is perfect, service is fast and very attentive. Concerning the dishes, my personal favourite is the eggplant parmigiana, which seems to be always on the menu, luckily!!!

5 stars don't do this restaurant justice. It's just so good! Located in the center of beautiful Orvieto, Al Mercato offers fine dining that's absolutely accessible and worth every penny. The setting is beautiful and the ambience classy. The staff are kind, caring and very efficient. For example, the chef served the steak to our table, not to let it wait a second too long. The food is freshly made from local ingredients, it is both tasty and pleasing to the eye. They offer a 35 EUR tasting menu including 2 appetizers, a Pasta Primi, a main dish and dessert. Everything we had was delicious. Hands down, that was the best steak I've had in a long time. Medium rare, full of flavor and cuts like butter. Didn't even need a steak knife, it was so tender. We will definitely come back again

In the center of Orvieto, a few steps from the cathedral, a place where you can taste the typical pasta: pici, tonnarelli, umbricelli and a memorable sour cherry cheese cake, all comfortably seated in an armchair.

Looking for a restaurant at the end of our city tour. We had already passed this pretty terrace and this time we did not hesitate. The menu changes almost every day, so the products are fresh and well thought out. We were very well received with our stroller and well served. The meal was delicious.

First evening in Orvieto we stopped in this small restaurant with an area in the shade of a tree. Very nice atmosphere and Giuseppe's service was immediately very friendly and professional. We ate very well and spent a wonderful evening chatting with two other visitors and with the guys at the bar until closing. Honest price, very good and typical dinner and top of the line service.
