After exiting the highway, we were looking for a restaurant in the area and found the Al Matriciano restaurant in San Salvo. Mr. Vincenzino's family prepares excellent home-cooked dishes based on fresh fish.

We went there for a dinner for two with a 2 year old child and a little dog. Simple but well-made dishes and quality fish, kind and helpful service, we will gladly return.

Locale molto pulito con accoglienza al top, personale gentile e il proprietario "il matriciano" simpatico attento e molto professionale, si nota subito che c'è tanta tanta passione nel loro lavoro. Bravissimi! Per quanto riguarda il cibo, pesce locale e fresco, ben cucinato con porzioni molto soddisfacenti, ci siamo trovati benissimo e torneremo sicuramente. Rapporto qualità prezzo, ottimo. Bravi!

07/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times. The setting is very charming, located in a rustic setting in the historic center of Lanciano. The atmosphere is very intimate and pleasant, thanks in part to the background music, and the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent; the menu features excellent traditional Lanciano and Abruzzo dishes. I highly recommend the rintrocilo with ragù and the cheese and egg balls. The meat is also excellent. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. A truly excellent place.

22/11/2025: Dinner with friends, ate a bit of everything, and almost everything was good. Very fair prices, nice place, service not exactly impeccable. A bad night is possible! Anyway, worth trying again.
