Beautiful, powerful structure. It's a shame that the interior cannot be visited.

I was there on Saturday 27 September, the guided tour included a visit to the Malatesta fortress with access to the underground... and the prisons... and finally an aperitif... I must say the guide was an Argentine girl... whose name I don't remember... but really very knowledgeable and very nice... The evening weather with the sunset must also have been an accomplice... a few clouds and some lightning that made everything more evocative! I must say that I had fun and spent a pleasant afternoon.

Really well preserved, but the real added value is Camila, a very competent Argentine guide

Beautiful little castle, just resting on hill

The Rocca Malatestiana, one of the most imposing fortresses in the region, stands atop the hill overlooking Cesena. It can be reached via a short climb starting from Piazza del Popolo, where the castle's outer walls meet. The fortress is surrounded by the Parco della Rimembranza, a city green space. Note the imposing keep, whose battlements offer a beautiful view, the dungeons, and the torture chamber. Inside, you can visit the museum, which houses historical artifacts and armor. The guided tour lasts about an hour and is led by a local association.

A very evocative experience, the Rocca di Notte has an extraordinary charm.

The guide was excellent at explaining the history of the fortress. The tour through the walls and the breathtaking views above were thrilling. The Romagna Farmers' Museum inside was very interesting. A very enjoyable hour was spent.

Visiting hours are inconvenient; it's a shame we couldn't take a tour inside...
